MEGA — Hardcore WoW Quality of Life
MEGA is a quality-of-life addon for WoW Classic Era Hardcore. It won't carry you — but it'll make sure you don't die
because you missed an aggro flash, ignored a world buff callout, or forgot to track your soul shards.

Features
Aggro Alert
Red vignette bleeds in from the screen edges the moment you pull or hold aggro. Plays a customizable sound. Adjustable
intensity (drama slider) and separate on/off controls for visual, audio, and toast notification.
World Buff Detector
Monitors LFG, Guild, Say, Yell, Whisper, General, and Trade chat for world buff announcements. Recognizes Onyxia,
Nefarian, Rend/Warchief's Blessing, Songflower, Spirit of Zandalar, DMT/King Buffs, Summons, and Portals — plus
compound callouts like "triple wb" and "double wb."
- Confidence scoring filters out questions, reactions, cooldown talk, recruitment spam, and scheduling chatter — not
just keyword matching
- Countdown timers: track any buff with a live timer (supports "in Xm", "X:XX ST", "soon")
- Dedup: one entry per buff regardless of how many people mention it; mention count tracked
- Toast notification + sound on new detections
- Resizable panel with Track and Whisper buttons per entry
LFG Chat Watcher
Two independent modes:
- LFG Mode — you're looking for a group. Alerts when a group in the LFG channel is seeking your role for a dungeon on
your watch list.
- LFM Mode — you're recruiting. Alerts when a player advertises themselves as your needed role for a dungeon on your
watch list.
Resizable panel logs all matches with timestamps and one-click whisper.
Range Overlay
Red tint on action bar buttons when your target is out of range. Covers main bar and all four multi-bars. Updates
every 0.12s. Opacity is adjustable.
Guildie Alert
Green directional arrow appears on the screen edge pointing toward any guildie or friend that enters nameplate range.
Plays a sound on first sighting per session. Separate toggles for guildies, friends, and favorites.
Drowning Alert
Plays a sound the moment the breath bar starts. Never ignore a bad swim again.
Soul Shard Manager (Warlocks)
Set a cap for how many soul shards you want to carry. Manual delete-to-cap button or auto-delete on bag update. Toast
notification when shards are trimmed. Per-character setting.
Pet Auto-Cast Toggles (Hunters / Warlocks)
Pill buttons anchored below your pet action bar showing ON/OFF state for each auto-cast ability. Click to toggle.
Supports WoW keybind system — bind them in the standard keybinds menu.
Soundboard
Floating grid of meme and faction sounds. Broadcasts to your group so everyone hears it in-game. Per-sound mute,
favorites, volume slider. Includes: Leeroy Jenkins, For the Horde/Alliance, Surprise, Bruh, Fatality, GG, and more.

Two built-in themes: Moody (dark, high-contrast, red accents) and Minimal (lighter, subtle). Theme selection is
per-character.

Notes
- Soundboard requires group members to also have MEGA installed to hear broadcast sounds
- LFG Browser mode (Premade Group Finder) is not available on Classic Era servers — MEGA uses chat-based LFG detection

- World Buff Detector LFG channel monitoring only activates when LFG or LFM mode is enabled
