What's new

[1.2.4] - 2026-07-18

Fixed

  • Moving an item between bags, bank, or the warband bank could silently change its tag (e.g. Keep → Sell). A "this stack" tag override was tied to the bag coordinate it was set at (source:bag:slot), not to the item itself. Moving a tagged item — by hand, by drag, or via mCleanup's own "Move Selected" — left the tag behind at the old coordinate; whatever item ended up in that slot afterward silently inherited it, while the item you actually moved lost its tag. Per-slot tags are now keyed to the item's persistent game GUID instead, so a tag follows the exact item wherever it's moved — bag, bank, or warband — instead of sticking to a slot. This also fixes the same stale-tag leak in the always-on bag badge overlay, the Fast Sell panel, and the Destroy panel, which each computed their own copy of the old coordinate-based lookup.

Notes

  • Any "this stack" tag set before this update is dropped the first time its slot is rescanned (opening/closing bags, or Rescan) — there was no reliable way to tell whether an old tag was still valid, so it's discarded rather than risk it being wrong. Re-tag anything you still want tagged. Item-wide ("all copies") tags are untouched.
  • If two stacks of the same reagent/consumable merge into one (WoW discards one of the two stacks' identities when this happens), a "this stack" tag on the discarded side reverts to the default recommendation rather than transferring — it will never jump onto a different item.
