Max Rogue Suite TBC

Max Rogue Suite TBC is a modular combat-information suite for Rogues in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade Classic.

It is built from the architecture and interface framework of Max Warrior Suite, but its runtime, class data, priorities, statistics, menus and documentation have been redesigned specifically for Rogue mechanics.

The addon does not cast abilities, choose protected actions or automate combat. It reads information already available through the WoW client and presents it in a compact, configurable HUD.

HUD Structure

Energy Bar

The Energy bar shows current and maximum Energy. Four markers represent:

• Low Energy threshold.
• High Energy threshold.
• Cap Risk threshold.
• Reserved Energy reference.

The bar changes state between Build, Control, Spend and Cap Risk.

Combo Point Row

The Combo Point row shows:

• Current Combo Points.
• Maximum of five Combo Points.
• Configured finisher threshold.
• Current target name.
• Green finisher-ready state when the threshold is reached.

Combo Points are read from the current target. Changing target therefore changes the displayed point state according to the game client.

Poison Row

The poison row independently checks the main-hand and off-hand temporary weapon enchantments.

For each weapon it displays:

• Active or missing state.
• Remaining duration.
• Remaining charges when the client supplies them.

The WoW API does not reliably expose the localized poison name through GetWeaponEnchantInfo, so the row prioritizes accurate presence, duration and charge information rather than guessing the poison type.

Aura Row

The aura row tracks important Rogue states and timed effects, including:

• Stealth.
• Slice and Dice.
• Blade Flurry.
• Adrenaline Rush.
• Cold Blood.
• Master of Subtlety.
• Shadowstep.
• Evasion.
• Cloak of Shadows.
• Garrote on the target.
• Rupture on the target.
• Expose Armor on the target.
• Kidney Shot on the target.

Only learned, enabled and relevant effects are shown.

Priority Row

The priority row evaluates:

• Detected or manually selected specialization.
• Current Energy.
• Current Combo Points.
• Stealth state.
• Ability cooldowns.
• Ability usability.
• Active Slice and Dice.
• Existing Rupture and Expose Armor debuffs.
• User-enabled abilities.

Each icon displays Energy cost, projected Energy after use and cooldown information.

The row is advisory. It never casts an ability or changes the player’s action bar.

Specialization Modes

Auto

Auto detects the tree with the largest number of spent talent points.

Assassination

The Assassination profile emphasizes:

• Mutilate.
• Garrote and stealth openers.
• Slice and Dice maintenance.
• Rupture.
• Eviscerate.
• Cold Blood.
• Deadly Throw and Kick utility.
• Reliable poison uptime.

Combat

The Combat profile emphasizes:

• Sinister Strike and Backstab.
• Slice and Dice maintenance.
• Rupture and Eviscerate.
• Blade Flurry.
• Adrenaline Rush.
• Riposte opportunities.
• Avoiding Energy cap during offensive cooldowns.

Subtlety

The Subtlety profile emphasizes:

• Stealth openers.
• Premeditation.
• Shadowstep.
• Hemorrhage.
• Ghostly Strike.
• Kidney Shot and other control finishers.
• Preparation and Vanish utility.

General Menu

The General page controls:

• HUD lock.
• Combat-only visibility.
• Rogue-only restriction.
• Minimap button visibility.
• Energy delta display.
• Per-combat statistics reset.
• Combo Point row.
• Poison row.
• Aura row.
• Priority row.
• Combat statistics.
• Minimal Energy Bar mode.

Rogue Statistics

The Rogue Stats page reads live character values from the client, including:

• Strength.
• Agility.
• Stamina.
• Attack Power.
• Melee Hit Rating and percentage.
• Poison or spell Hit Rating and percentage.
• Critical Strike.
• Haste.
• Expertise.
• Resilience.
• Dodge.
• Main-hand and off-hand weapon speed.
• Combo Points.
• Current poison status.
• Talent-point allocation.

The lower panels provide practical TBC reference notes for Assassination, Combat and Subtlety.

Talent Builder

The Talent Builder reads the Rogue talent trees directly from the installed TBC client.

• Left-click adds a planned point.
• Right-click removes a planned point.
• Tier requirements are enforced.
• The plan is limited to 61 points.
• Current talents can be imported.
• A plan can be saved.
• Saved plans can be applied only while the Rogue trainer window is open.
• Existing talent conflicts and available points are checked before application.

Talent spending changes the character and cannot be undone one point at a time. Verify the complete plan before confirming.

Language Support

The complete addon interface supports:

• English.
• Italian.
• French.
• Spanish.

Ability, spell and talent names are not manually translated by the addon. They are read from the installed WoW client so they remain consistent with the game language and server data.

Audio Alerts

Each Combo Point total from 1 to 5 can use a separate sound. Energy thresholds remain visual alerts only.

The package includes:

• Original Max Rogue Suite tones.
• A silent option.
• Legacy WoW sound options.
• Integrated PvP announcer sounds.

Use Test Combo Point sounds in the General page before combat.

• /mrs — open or close configuration.
• /mrs lock — lock the HUD.
• /mrs unlock — unlock the HUD.
• /mrs test — toggle test mode.
• /mrs soundtest — test the five configured Combo Point sounds in sequence.
• /mrs reset — reset HUD position and scale.
• /mrs combatonly — toggle combat-only visibility.
• /mrs mapbutton — restore the minimap button.
• /mrs auto — automatic specialization detection.
• /mrs assassination — force Assassination mode.
• /mrs combat — force Combat mode.
• /mrs subtlety — force Subtlety mode.

Alternative base commands are /roguesuite and /maxrogue.

Installation

1. Extract the archive.
2. Copy the MaxRogueSuiteTBC folder into:

World of Warcraft/_classic_/Interface/AddOns/

1. Restart World of Warcraft or reload the interface.
2. Enable Max Rogue Suite TBC from the AddOns list.
