What's new

2.3.0

Includes the 2.2.1 fixes below (2.2.1 was never released on its own).

  • Spell queue line on your cast bar: a thin white line marks the moment a key press starts being queued (the last 400 ms of a cast, or whatever the game's spell queue window is set to). Press once the fill has passed it, and the next spell starts the moment this one ends, so the bar refills without emptying. Casts only, not channels.
  • Global cooldown ring turns gold when the spell queue opens: after an instant (Fire Blast, Frost Nova), the ring at your mouse lights up gold for the last 400 ms, and a press then starts your next spell the moment the cooldown ends. It stays white while a cast is running, where the cast bar's line counts.
  • Your cast bar takes a soft tint from the spell's school: warm for fire, cool blue for frost, lilac for arcane (Polymorph, conjures and teleports included). Channels keep their blue.
  • Thinner rings on the unit frames: the portrait ring, the level badge and the buff badge use the minimap's own ring, darkened like the minimap, so frames and minimap match. The portrait's glass crescent is gone with it. The focus medallion keeps its ring.
  • Livelier combat icon: the crossed swords in the level badge are bigger, pop in as combat starts, and have a soft red glow behind them that pulses with the frame's combat glow (it follows the state glow setting).
  • Loot feed: skill-ups are a strong teal with the cap in a darker teal. The pale aqua before read as almost white.
  • The red lag block at the end of your cast bar shows again. It now measures your connection's latency; before, it never showed on Forever.
  • No queue line on casts over about 4.5 seconds (Pyroblast, teleports), where it would sit under the time left.
  • Fixed the "SetHideCountdownNumbers on bad self" error coming back when clicking your own frame in combat.
  • Darker windows: the sides fade from the lighter top strip down to the darker bottom, instead of meeting the strip in a hard step.
