MasterDialog-v1.1.zip
What's new
Changelog
1.1 (2026-10-28)
- Uniform bottom buttons: every action button shares one size and lines up from the Goodbye button's corner.
- New Sell Value button on the reward page: picks the reward worth the most at a vendor and completes the quest in one click.
- Exile's Reach and other themed quests now use the Master Dialog layout.
- Clean, edge-free backgrounds: one full-frame image instead of torn page edges, with our own default parchment.
- New Options page (Options > AddOns > Master Dialog) with six settings: Interact key advances quest, Highlight best-value reward, Show Sell Value button, Center window, Quest font and Parchment contrast. Settings stay in sync with the in-window controls.
- Your Interact With Target key (or Space, if it isn't bound) accepts, continues or completes quests while the quest window is open. Escape is unchanged.
- Option labels and tooltips translated for all supported client languages (English fallback).
1.0 - Initial release (2026-10-22)
- First release.
- Wider two-pane quest window with quest text and rewards side by side.
- Background parchment kept in sync across both panes.
- Gold glow on the reward choice with the highest vendor value (sell price x exact quantity; ties all glow).
- Empty reward area hidden on the progress/turn-in screen.
- Rewards no longer show the previous quest's rewards when an NPC offers a follow-up quest that has no rewards.
- Money rewards shown as coin-colored text with a drop shadow; experience number matches in the quest font.
- Parchment contrast choice saved account-wide and reapplied at login.
- In-window controls row: Center checkbox, font dropdown and parchment contrast dropdown, all with live hover preview and disabled in combat.
- Retail: controls row aligns left of the Warband completed notice; bottom buttons centered on the bar.
- No Blizzard settings page needed.
- Localized Center label (deDE, frFR, esES, esMX, itIT, ptBR, ruRU, koKR, zhCN, zhTW; English fallback).
- Supports Retail (120105) and WoW Forever (16001) from one codebase.
