MasterChat-1.1.18.zip
What's new
1.1.18
- A font-size link in a chat message can no longer shrink the window. The link is stripped, and the size is put back to the tab setting.
- A picture in a chat line is capped at 32. A message can have one line break.
- Coin icons in sell messages stay at text size.
- Numbered channel tags are shortened. Looking For Group becomes LFG. The rest keep their name, without the number or zone.
- One background sits behind the chat and the stamps. The chat window color and opacity still come from the Blizzard menu.
- Timestamp side is gone. Stamps stay on the left.
- A wrapped line starts in the stamp column. The first line still starts after the time. Changing the font rebuilds that indent, and can drop link clicks on lines already showing.
- Shared media fonts are listed when LibSharedMedia is installed. Noto Sans CJK is registered for other addons.
- Hide chat buttons is its own option. It is on by default, and it no longer follows the timestamp setting.
- Block other languages is off by default. It hides a line when most of its letters are not the client writing system.
- Plain chat input is off by default. It hides the input artwork while you type. The channel label and the text stay. It does not move or resize the box.
1.1.17
- Timestamps are drawn beside the line, not written into the message, so links stay clickable and the stamp scrolls with the text.
- A strip sits on the left or the right of the chat frame for the stamps. The side is an option. Left is the default.
- The strip copies the chat window background, and it stays on the screen when the chat is against the edge.
- Blizzard chat buttons are hidden while timestamps are on.
- A new message closes an open color code, so a missing reset does not paint the next line.
- Combat Log is left alone, so it is no longer docked into the main chat.
- Minimizing chat hides the stamps and the strip.
1.1.16
- Relative timestamps lead every chat line, as [05.20s], [01.12m], or [02.07h].
- Timestamp speed, start unit, and color are options. Minutes is the default start. Outline is off by default.
- Noto Sans CJK is the default chat font. It covers Chinese, Japanese, and Korean at the same size.
- Addon and print lines are not stamped. Right-click on a name still opens the player menu.
- Timers stay on their line when the chat is scrolled, and scrolling with nowhere to go no longer wiggles the lines.
- Stack chat buttons has been removed.
1.1.15
- Loaded as a Master Core feature, and on its own.
- Restore in combat brings the chat text back immediately. Buttons and the edit box wait until combat ends.
- Options live in the addons settings.
- Hiding chat no longer disables clicks on player names.
