MarcoPolo (MP) automates everything that can be automated while you interact with merchants, and stays as lightweight as possible. Every time you talk to a vendor, MP will automatically sell your gray (junk) items, repair your gear, and buy whatever you have told it to keep in stock — reagents, food, ammo, or anything else the vendor sells.
There is no options panel and nothing to configure upfront: one frame, two events and a single slash command. Set it once and forget it exists.
Features
- Sell junk: all gray items in your bags are sold the moment a merchant window opens, and MP reports the total earned in chat.
- Repair: repairs all your equipment automatically, using either your own gold or your guild bank's.
- Smart shopping: keeps a stock of any item you choose (reagents, materials, food, potions…). If a vendor has it and you are below your target, MP buys the difference.
- Gold checks: before buying or repairing, MP checks your funds and tells you exactly how much you are missing.
- Featherweight: no configuration UI, no libraries, no dependencies. It does nothing at all while you are not at a vendor.
- Localized: English, Español, Français, Deutsch, Italiano, Português, Русский, 简体中文, 繁體中文, 한국어 and 日本語.
Syntax
| Command | Description |
|---|---|
/mp |
Shows the addon version and the list of items you want MP to buy. |
/mp [Item link] n |
Tells MP to maintain a stock of n units of that item. Whenever you interact with a vendor, if you have less than n units, MP buys the difference. Use it again with n = 0 to stop buying an item. |
/mp guild yes |
Repair using guild bank gold. ("yes" is localized: use "si" in Spanish, "oui" in French, "ja" in German.) |
/mp guild no |
Repair using your own gold. ("no" is localized: "no" in Spanish and French, "nein" in German.) |
Notes
- The [Item link] must be inserted by SHIFT-clicking the item, either from your bags or from the merchant window. Typing the item name between brackets will not work.
- If the merchant window was open while you configured MP, close it and open it again for the change to take effect.
- MP never spends more than it should: it only buys the difference up to your target stock, and only what you can afford.
