About Mappy
Mappy is a minimap addon which changes the standard round minimap into a square minimap. In addition, it adds these features to the minimap:
- Automatic layout of addon buttons
- Zooming in and out with the mouse wheel
- Combat alpha setting
- Save and load profiles (size, position, settings, etc)
- Gathering overlay support for Gatherer and GatherMate

EDIT2:
My fixed fork has been uploaded on CurseForge!

EDIT:
The addon is now fully fixed! I've also fixed a few features that were broken since Shadowlands and before that.

Hi all, I'm trying to fix and maintain Mappy, since the original author hasn't logged in a long while.
The project shows as "All Rights Reserved" here, but it's incorrect. Project files list MIT licence both here and at source, which gives me the right to help y'all out and fix the code for DF.
Currently I'm uploading on GitHub and waiting for approval to upload "Mappy Continued" on CurseForge.
https://github.com/Shushuda/Mappy-Continued
Keep in mind I won't add new stuff and I won't refactor the code. There's gonna be hack-y things to keep it going with as much of the original codebase as possible, as I don't have enough time to rewrite anything properly. I will, however, try to maintain what's currently there and try to maybe optimise some of my hacks later. I've been using this addon for years and there's no way I'm gonna just abandon it, I love it too much.

WoW, it's great news! Thank you for your work!
Mappy is my all-time favorite minimap addon even though its best feature has been removed years ago: -To get mining/herb/fishing etc nodes flashing. Blinking. That was the main purpose of this addon. However it still looked good and stylish in the last 2-3 expansion anyway.
It would be a miracle if you could restore the original blinking nodes of Mappy. Either way, thank you for your hard work!
In reply to Vox013:
The original graphic, you mean? The one that was just a dot pre-DF? Sure, I can do that.
Because atm I've fixed everything I could, including the coords and blinking / big nodes that were broken since SL and before that. It's just using new DF graphics for nodes now - each node type (herb, fish etc) is a separate icon since DF. I can add an option to use old style dot instead if this is what you meant. But the feature itself is fixed, it just uses new graphics now
EDIT:
Implemented!
In reply to Shushudaa:
Any chance on working out the bugs?
In reply to axxislex:
Which bugs?
My fork is not on this page. It's there - https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/mappy-continued
If you've encountered any bugs while using my version, then please write them down under my addon page, not here. I'm not checking the comments here.
In reply to Shushudaa:
It gives errors when you enter Blizzard's UI Edit Mode, or sometimes it dose not let you right click something in the bags, you have to drag the item iin the bars and click it.
I posted in your foork the lates bug grab.
Thank you for your work, it is much apreciated.
In reply to axxislex:
Cheers. I've posted a reply under your comment in the fork.

Also, thank you very much for your work, this is one adoon that i love
Hello!
I downloaded the archive from here: https://github.com/srhinos/Mappy and installed it manually.
In general, the addon worked, but when trying to move it, an error crashes:
In reply to MrGnum:
I get a error like this as well needs fixing it does when it can be done
In reply to MrGnum:
thats a weird error that I'm not getting. are you using other addons to modify the position of anything like blizzmove or moveanything?
In reply to S3xualRhinoceros:
Yes, I have these addons installed. But even after disabling them, the same error continues. =(
