What's new

Mage Tools Forever 1.3.0

Changes

Other changes

  • The Polymorph bar, its click, the "! Polymorph" macro, and the group message now run on the shared tracking engine in Dyre's Toolkit, as in other Dyre's AddOns. They look and work as before. MTF now needs Dyre's Toolkit 2.5 or later; the CurseForge app installs it.
  • Whether focus works on your client is now one setting for every Dyre's AddOn. MTF hands over what it learned once. /mtf reset_focus now resets it for every Dyre's AddOn.
  • With Dyre's Debuff Tracker also on, MTF draws your Polymorph bar and keeps "! Polymorph", so nothing shows twice.
  • WoW Classic Era: "! Polymorph" is rewritten once to a shorter moon line. It marks and sheeps the same mob as before.

Notes

  • For WoW: Forever and WoW Classic Era 1.15.9 (build 70003, Interface 11509). Tested on Forever beta 1.60.1, build 70450, Interface 16001. MTF runs on later beta builds while the client provides the APIs it needs, and disables itself with one chat message if they are missing.
  • Conjure bar: food, water, and mana gem buttons and macros. With a friendly player targeted, left-click trades them your share stack size (default 10) of the best food or water they can use, and right-click conjures the rank they can use.
  • Shield display: a crescent that fills with your remaining shield (Ice Barrier, Mana Shield, a ward, or one another player puts on you), also in combat, and drops away when it is used up.
  • Cooldown chimes: a sound shortly before Blink, Frost Nova, and your other chosen spells are ready again, also in combat.
  • Sounds come from Dyre's Sounds, which the CurseForge app installs with MTF. Without it, MTF plays no sounds and says so once in chat.
  • Each tool has its own switch and settings page in Options > AddOns, or /mtf options.
