Lumen-1.0.1.zip
What's new
1.0.1
First public release.
A ring around your cursor. Seven styles: Hairline, Classic, Bold, Soft Glow, Double, Dotted and Dashed. Set any colour with red, green and blue sliders or pick one of twelve swatches, or let it cycle through the rainbow. Size, opacity, a gentle breathing pulse and spin are all adjustable. An optional soft halo makes it glow, and a faint dark outline keeps it visible over snow, fire and bright spell effects.
A trail behind it. Six particle types: Glow, Spark, Star, Bubble, Diamond and Heart. Length, spacing, size and opacity are adjustable. The trail can match the ring's colour, take its own, or run as a rainbow ribbon, and particles can shrink as they fade or drift away like embers.
Shake to flare. Lose the cursor in a busy fight, give the mouse a quick wiggle, and the ring swells up so you can spot it, then settles back.
Eight ready-made looks to start from: Frost Wisp, Arcane Sigil, Fel Ember, Holy Light, Blood Moon, Sweetheart, Prism Comet and Minimal.
Stays out of the way. Nothing sits on your screen but the effect. It can hide while you hold a mouse button to steer the camera, show only in combat, or fade out when the mouse sits still and come back the moment you move.
Settings that survive a restart on the Forever beta. The beta saves
addon settings at logout but doesn't load them back, so Lumen also reads a
Settings.lua file in its folder. Set things up in /lumen, press Save to
file on the Behaviour tab, paste the text into Settings.lua, and your
look loads every time. On a client where saving works, the file is simply
ignored in favour of your in-game settings.
