Once upon a time there was an addon that cleanly displayed CC on your character and pet... an addon that was greatly missed by a Hunter from Emerald Dream, lets just call him Big Z. The current in game notifications Just don't make him feel... In Control, like he used to be. He longed for the older retro look from past expansions.
Welcome to... LoZeControl.
A clean, fully customizable replacement for the default Loss of Control icon.
Tired of the giant washed-out "Feared 6.9" splash in the middle of your screen? LoZeControl swaps it for a crisp, movable, resizable icon that shows exactly what's got you locked down — and lets you style it however you want.
Features
- Replaces the default LoC icon with a clean, action-bar-style icon you can drag anywhere and size to taste.
- Tracks every loss of control on you — stuns, roots, silences, fears/disorients, disarms, and interrupts.
- Smart priority — when multiple CCs overlap it shows the one that ends last (i.e. when you can actually act again). Stunned 2s + rooted 4s + feared 6s → it shows the fear.
- Per-type de-emphasis — tell it which CC types should step aside while something else is on you, then appear once they're all that's left. (Casters: keep the stun up over a longer root. Melee: keep the stun up over a longer silence.)
- Custom countdown — adjustable timer text size and color, always centered on the icon.
- Per-category sizing — make stuns bigger than roots, silences smaller, etc.
- Choose your glow — Button, Pixel, Autocast, or Proc glow (default: Proc), with your own color and size — or turn it off entirely.
- Pet support — an optional, separately-draggable icon for crowd control on your pet, plus a customizable "Pet in CC" text alert.
- Fully configurable — everything lives in
/lzc, and there's an entry under ESC → Options → AddOns.

A note on pets in PvP
In rated PvP, Blizzard hides which spell is on non-player units. So for your pet, LoZeControl can always show you that it's crowd-controlled and exactly when it ends — but not the spell art. There you'll see a generic CC marker; outside PvP you get the real spell icon and countdown.
