What's new
Lootwise changelog
1.0.3
- Updated for WoW Forever build 1.60.1.70450: recipes, materials and the game's interface version.
1.0.2
- Sharing a list with your party, raid or guild no longer offers you your own list.
- List shares: at most one popup per sender every 30 seconds, a share no longer replaces a dialog you're typing in (it waits until you close it), and a list's name can't show textures or links.
- Recorded and shared boss drops match the listed boss on any game language (by the boss's NPC ID, or by its loot), instead of showing up as a second copy of the boss.
- Upgrade arrows: one-handers, shields and off-hands are no longer called upgrades just because your off hand is empty while you hold a two-hander, or when your class can't dual-wield.
- Profession planner: recipes that make more than one item per craft (Smelt Bronze makes 2 bars) are counted properly, so the shopping list no longer asks for too much.
- "Is on the list of" messages no longer repeat each time you reopen the same corpse.
- Fixed a possible error when copying a list as text right after removing an item, and settings that didn't load if the addon's folder was renamed. /lootwise debug shows the right version.
1.0.1
- Works on any game language: bosses are recognised by their NPC ID rather than their English name, so boss models are learned on non-English clients too, and recorded or shared drops are filed under the same dungeon for everyone.
1.0.0 (first release)
- Dungeon and raid loot, with an "All loot" page per dungeon; hover an item to see which boss drops it.
- Loot tables for Forever's new dungeons (Hall of Thanes, Ruins of Lordaeron, Excavation Site: Wetlands, City of Dalaran) and Forever's changed loot for Ragefire Chasm, Wailing Caverns, Deadmines, Shadowfang Keep, Blackfathom Deeps, The Stockade, Razorfen Kraul and SM Graveyard.
- Dungeon quest rewards for every dungeon open in the beta, with Horde/Alliance icons.
- Forever's level ranges and raid line-up.
- PvP, reputation and collections, with an Alliance/Horde switch.
- All professions, including every recipe new in Forever, with skill-up ranges and materials.
- Wishlists you can share with a code or send to other players.
- Item sources in every item tooltip.
- Wishlist alerts when you enter a dungeon with items from your lists, and when one drops.
- Themes: Dark, Parchment, Class colour, Faction and High contrast.
- Settings page: font, window size, background, lock window, open-on, minimap button, tooltip lines, filters and alerts.
- Ticks on gear whose appearance you've collected for transmog, and recipes you know; optional arrows on gear with a higher item level.
- Materials box on crafted item rows: each reagent with its count, before the skill numbers; hover for how many you have.
- Shopping list: all materials for the crafted items on a list, against what you have.
- Quick shopping list: click a recipe's materials box to put its materials in a small pop-out window for the auction house (click again for another craft, add more recipes, Clear when done).
- Group needs: see which group members want a drop.
- Shared drops between Lootwise users for dungeons without published loot.
- Vendors page and "Sold by" tooltips; world epics marked as world drops.
- Export lists as text or Wowhead links.
- Keybinding to open Lootwise.
- Profession planner: pick a profession and a target skill, and Lootwise works out the cheapest route there from the recipes you know: what to craft at each skill, about how many, and what it costs, plus a shopping list against your bags and bank. Pop the shopping list out into a small window to keep open at the auction house.
- Auction house prices: a Scan button reads the whole auction house, and anything you search for or browse is recorded too. Only auction prices are used. Item tooltips show the auction price of crafting materials.
- Alts: Lootwise notes each character's bags, bank and mailbox, and the shopping list counts what your other characters on the same realm and faction have. Tooltips say which alts have an item. /lootwise forget <name> drops a deleted character.
- Trainers: the route says who teaches the next rank (Expert, Artisan...), where, and what it needs, with a click for a map waypoint. Forever's trainers come from Wowhead's and wow-professions.com's Forever guides; trainers you or your guild talk to are recorded and shared, so moved trainers correct themselves.
- Recipes you don't know yet say where to get them and at what skill (from the same guides).
- Mining: where smelting gives no skill (140-155, and past 185 in Forever) the route says which ore to mine and where.
