What's new

Changelog

2.0.0

A rebuild of LootTrackr for Midnight. It still records raid loot rolls, and now keeps track of loot everywhere you get it: dungeons, Mythic+, delves, the Great Vault, vendors and the open world. It can also keep a full record of your gold and currencies.

Before you update

  • Your data is converted the first time you log in. A backup of your old data is made first and kept for 30 days. Type /lt backup to see it. /lt backup restore puts the old data back so you can return to 1.x, and /lt backup delete removes the backup.
  • New features start turned off if you are updating from 1.x, so nothing changes until you choose. Turn them on in /lt settings. New installs start with them on. The ledger starts off for everyone.
  • The saved data is much smaller: about a tenth of its old size on disk, and much less memory in game.

New tabs

  • Dungeons: every dungeon run, with your party, each boss and everyone's loot, rolled or handed out. Mythic+ runs show the key level, whether you timed it and by how much the key upgraded, with all the loot from the end-of-run chest in one list. Holiday bosses and dungeon finder rewards (such as the daily holiday cache) are recorded too.
  • Delves: every delve run with its tier and what you looted, split between the normal chest and the bountiful chest a key opens.
  • Great Vault: each week's vault laid out as it was: three rows of three slots, the rewards below them, which reward you took, what you passed on and which slots were never filled. Item levels are coloured by upgrade track (Veteran, Champion, Hero, Myth).
  • Notable Drops: interesting loot anyone in your raid or dungeon gets: Bind on Equip items, mounts, pets, toys and recipes, tier tokens and set pieces, bonus roll wins, and anything of the quality you choose.
  • My Loot: everything you loot, anywhere, and where it came from (raid, dungeon, delve, world boss, chest, container, Great Vault, trade). Gold, currencies and vendor purchases (with what they cost) can be included. Click a Great Vault entry to see the choices you passed on.
  • Ledger (optional): every change to your gold and currencies, in and out, and what it was for: loot, quests, vendors, repairs, item upgrades, the auction house, mail, trades, ability trees and more. An action paid in several ways is one row, such as an upgrade paid in gold and crests, or a quest that takes one currency and gives another. Changes made while LootTrackr wasn't running show up as an "Unrecorded change" when you next log in, so the totals always match your real balances.
  • Stats: raid totals, and a sortable table of everyone's rolls by player.

Item tooltips

  • How often an item has been seen to drop, when it was last seen, who last won it and when you last looted it.
  • Whether its appearance is collected, counting the appearance from any item or only from that exact item.
  • Whether you already own a mount, pet, toy, heirloom or piece of housing decor, and when you looted the item that taught it.
  • While the game is still loading an item, the tooltip says "Loading..." and fills in when it arrives.

Also new

  • A Blizzard-style window with a tab for each kind of loot, filters and search on every tab, and right-click to delete a run, a boss or an entry.
  • Loot marked when it's a new appearance or an upgrade for you.
  • Export any list as CSV.
  • History older than a chosen age can be deleted automatically ("Keep history for" in the settings).
  • Settings split into pages: Raids, Dungeons & Delves; Notable Drops; My Loot; Ledger; Tooltips. Every kind of tracking can be turned on or off on its own.
  • Buying the same item several times in a row is one My Loot entry, with the quantity and total cost ("Merge repeated purchases", on by default).
  • Blizzard's hidden tracking currencies (delve affix counters, season totals) are left out of My Loot and the ledger.
  • Minimap button, which can be hidden with /lt minimap.

Changes

  • Supports Midnight (12.1.0 and 12.1.5).
  • No longer uses the Ace3 libraries.

1.0.7

  • Support for the Midnight pre-patch.

1.0.6 and earlier

  • Records raid loot rolls: who rolled what on each drop, and who won it.
  • A summary page for each raid, and deleting recorded raids.
