What's new

0.24.2

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed lists losing their grayed-out state after loading screens (zone changes, instance entry, or login) or until a UI reload, which also caused notifications to fire for items you already had. Inventory scans taken while the game is still loading are no longer trusted.
  • Fixed Pawn upgrade percentages showing an absurd value (like 1000%) on every item, including items that aren't upgrades, when Pawn hadn't finished loading its comparison data.

0.24.1

Bug Fixes

  • Updated for the TBC Classic Anniversary 2.5.6 patch, so LootHawk loads without showing as out of date.

0.24.0

Features

  • Color themes. Recolor LootHawk's windows from the new Colors settings section: pick a preset, or create your own named preset and customize every color.
  • Includes colorblind-safe presets (Red-Green, Blue-Yellow, and High Contrast) that keep the needed, upgrade, and obtained colors distinct, plus a range of aesthetic themes like Neon Synthwave, Toxic Lime, Molten Core, Vaporwave, and Abyssal.
  • Themes recolor everything: backgrounds, borders, title bars, titles, headers, buttons, list text, and the status colors used on rolls and tooltips.
  • Override individual colors per window on your custom presets, with a live preview of the real window as you edit.
  • Adjust window opacity globally or per window under the Opacity section.
  • Reposition the roll notification toast under the Layout section with Move Toast Anchor.
  • The list panel now also appears next to Blizzard's built-in Need/Greed roll frames, with one panel per wishlisted item being rolled. Choose which side it appears on, and cap how many lists it shows before truncating to a hoverable "+N more" line.
  • Choose whether the redeemable-token glow appears around just the item's icon or the whole list row.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed tier-token glow sometimes never appearing in a session: the player's class wasn't always detected and the glow library could load late, which broke class-restricted token matching in glows, notifications, and tooltips.
  • Hovering anywhere on a list item now shows the "you own a redeemable token" tooltip line, not just when hovering the icon.

0.23.0

Features

  • Item quantity can now be set up to 1000. Click the quantity number to type a value directly instead of stepping with the - and + buttons.

Bug Fixes

  • Clearer explanations of the quantity pin and edit-mode features in the pin tooltip and the edit-mode tutorial.

0.22.0

Features

  • For list items with a quantity above 1, a pin button in edit mode controls completion behavior: pinned keeps the item complete once you reach the target even if your count later drops; unpinned (default) makes it active again whenever you fall below the target.

0.21.2

Bug Fixes

  • If an AtlasLoot tooltip mode is selected and AtlasLoot isn't loaded, the tooltip mode now switches to a non-AtlasLoot option automatically.

0.21.1

Bug Fixes

  • If a list was set to sort by Pawn upgrade % and Pawn isn't loaded, sorting now switches to alphabetical automatically.

0.21.0

Features

  • Pawn integration (when Pawn is installed). Choose a Pawn scale per list via a button at the top of the list, then sort by upgrade % with the new "By upgrade % (Pawn)" sort option: upgrades first by percentage, then non-upgrade gear, then everything else. Enable "Show Pawn upgrade % in list view" to show a "+X%" tag next to gear Pawn rates as an upgrade.

0.20.2

Bug Fixes

  • Edit Mode now turns off when the settings window is closed.
  • Releasing Shift while hovering an item now removes the comparison and restores the normal tooltip without overlap.
  • Shift comparison now shows the LootHawk tooltip on the left and your equipped item(s) on the right.

0.20.1

Bug Fixes

  • Edit Mode sample windows keep their position when adjusting opacity.
  • Edit Mode samples now match the size and position of the windows they represent.
  • Shift comparison now appears when you press Shift while already hovering an item.

0.20.0

Features

  • Hold Shift while hovering a list item to compare it with your equipped gear (both rings or trinkets where applicable).
  • Item drop-source tooltips note whether a dungeon item drops in Normal & Heroic or Heroic only.

0.19.0

Features

  • Appearance: Edit Mode toggle shows draggable sample windows for live opacity tuning.

Bug Fixes

  • Settings window now displays above the main window.
  • Settings content no longer overlaps the title bar.
  • Toast opacity changes apply to visible toasts immediately.
  • Roll Window position dropdown "Auto" label simplified.

Features

  • Fixed an error when opening the add-note window.
