Loot Pro
Loot Pro replaces WoW's noisy default loot and combat scroll with two clean, fully movable frames you control down to the last color — about 300 KB memory usage, zero dependencies, Retail and Classic alike.

At a glance
- Two clean, movable frames — combat/system in one, loot/money in the other; drag them anywhere
- Clean Mode — strips "You receive loot:" clutter down to icon, item name, and bag count
- Smart rarity filter — silence grey junk, keep the greens, blues, and epics
- Full color & format control — 11 message categories, independent colors and toggles, live preview
- Session loot recap — tally gold, items by rarity, currencies, and notable drops for your play session
- Smart alerts — center-screen pop-up, sound, and loot-line highlights for watched items and rare drops (all off by default)
- Deeper loot control — hide whole item categories, see per-session counts in tooltips, and get currency-cap warnings
- Featherweight & standalone — ~300 KB, no external addons, fonts and libraries bundled in
- Retail + Classic, any language — works on Midnight and BCC Anniversary; locale-aware filters
Open it with /lp or the minimap button.
What it does
Clean Mode
Cuts the default "You receive loot:" / "You receive currency:" boilerplate so each line is just the item, an inline icon, and your current bag count. Money can show gold/silver/copper with coin icons instead of a raw number.
Smart rarity filtering
Pick a minimum quality and the loot frame only shows items at or above it. Grey vendor trash disappears entirely while anything worth grabbing still comes through.
Category filters
Beyond the rarity filter, hide whole item classes from the loot feed — Trade Goods, Consumables, Quest Items, or Recipes — while your recap still counts them.
Full color customization
Independent color pickers for all 11 categories — Money, Currency, Loot, Combat Start, Combat End, Experience, Delver XP, Skill Gains, Honor, Reputation Gain, Reputation Loss. Previewed live, applied instantly.
Per-frame layout
Each frame has its own text size, fade time, width, height, and max lines. Dozens of fonts are bundled in the dropdown — nothing extra to install — with Thin, Thick, or None (drop-shadow) outlines.
Notification toggles
Every message type flips on or off individually, plus toggles for loot counts, coin icons, Clean Mode, and follower XP.
Session recap
A new Recap tab (and /lp recap) tallies your play session — gold, items broken down by rarity, currencies earned, and notable epic-or-better drops. It lives entirely in memory and resets each login, so it adds nothing to your saved variables. Off by default; turn it on from the Recap tab.
Watched-item alerts
Track specific items by name, item ID, or shift-clicked link on the new Alerts tab. When you loot one, Loot Pro fires a center-screen pop-up and an alert sound so you never miss it. Off by default.
Rare drop alerts
Optionally color a looted line by its quality, flash the loot frame, and play a sound when an item meets a quality threshold (Legendary by default) — so the good stuff stands out from the noise. All off by default; configured on the Alerts tab.
Loot counts in tooltips
Item tooltips can show how many of that item you've looted this session, drawn from the session recap.
Currency cap warnings
Loot Pro tags a currency line when it reaches its maximum or weekly cap, so you know when extra is going to waste.
Movable frames & test mode
Unlock Windows makes both frames draggable so you can place them anywhere. Test Mode freezes the fade and fires sample messages for every category, so you can dial in your setup without leaving town.
Minimap button
One-click access to settings, compatible with Titan Panel, ChocolateBar, ElvUI, and other LibDataBroker displays. Left, right, and middle clicks are each configurable — open settings, print your recap, toggle window lock, or nothing.
Commands
/lp — toggle the settings window
/lpro — toggle the settings window (alternate)
/lp recap — print your current session recap (gold, items, currencies, notable drops); /lp recap reset starts a fresh session
/lp test — runs a regression pass over all 12 message categories (money, currency, loot, combat, XP, Delver XP, follower XP, skill, honor, rep gain, rep loss) and prints pass/fail per category in chat
The config window has six tabs — Layout, Colors, Notifs, Custom, Recap, Alerts — and every tab has a Reset to Defaults button that restores its settings.
Dependencies
None. Loot Pro is fully standalone — LibStub, LibDataBroker-1.1, CallbackHandler-1.0, LibDBIcon-1.0, and LibSharedMedia-3.0 are all bundled internally, along with a curated font pack ready to use from the settings panel.
