v0.2.0
Spellbook
- A Spellbook page in Settings lists the spells you know that aren't on any action bar, and the slots still holding a lower rank of a spell you've since learned again, with the rank each has and the one it gets. Fix all puts both right in one press: each old rank becomes your highest, on the bars and in any action bar layout that held it, and each missing spell goes in the first empty slot of a bar you can see. In combat it waits. A padlock leaves a row alone. Works on Forever and TBC Anniversary.
Trinket queue
- A set based on another follows its base's trinket queue (or its Off) until its dialog picks one of its own; As base, first in its Trinket queue list, puts it back. A set whose base is deleted keeps the queue it had.
v0.1.0
The first release.
Sets
- Save what you're wearing as a set and put it back on in one click; update, rename and delete it. Slots can be left out of a set so it only swaps what it names. The card shows the set that's on and the pieces missing from your bags, and with no sets yet, New set is its main button.
- Pressing a set that's on swaps back to what it replaced.
- In combat, weapons swap at once and everything else waits for combat to end: the card says After combat and the slots waiting show a gold corner.
- Update from worn shows which of a set's slots would take what you're wearing (the set's piece, then yours) and saves the ones you keep ticked. A left-out slot keeps its piece to come back with.
- New set and the pencil beside the share button open the set dialog over the card: the set's name, the set it's based on, its group and its icon, from a search of every icon in the game. Nothing changes until Create or Save.
- Click the set's name for a list of every set, how many pieces each is missing and which one is on, with New set at its foot.
- Hover a slot on the card to see every item that fits it, the set's own first, then what you're wearing and what's in your bags, and click one to put it in the set without wearing it.
- Picking a two-hander for a set leaves its off hand out, so the two never end up in one set.
- The trash can at the card's top right deletes the set, after asking.
- The card shows your character in its middle, wearing the set: its pieces, and what you're wearing in the slots it leaves alone. Drag it to turn it.
- Or, with the Stats toggle at the top right of the card's middle, your stats with the set on, under Attributes, Offense and Defense: each with how far it moves from what you're wearing, talents and buffs counted as they count now, and each piece's enchant, gems and socket bonus. A number worked out rather than added up says so with a ~.
- Set groups, picked in the set dialog, sort every list of sets: the sets in no group first, then each group under its name.
- Reorder sets: drag a set up or down in the card's list of sets or the bar's sets flyout. It moves among the sets beside it (same base, same group), and every list follows.
Sets based on others
- Based on, in the set dialog, picks a set to build on. A set based on another puts on its base's piece in every slot it leaves out, from the nearest set up the chain that has the slot in; only a slot none of them has in is left alone. A new set based on another equips exactly as its base until you click slots in.
- On the card the base's name comes before the set's. A left-out slot shows the piece that goes on there, faint, and a slot clicked in is the set's own, marked with the gold square and kept when the base changes, even if it's the base's piece.
- Sets can be based on sets that are based on others; the lists of sets show each one under its base. Deleting a base leaves the sets built on it whole.
Character pane
- Hovering a slot on the character pane opens the bar's flyout right next to it: what in your bags fits that slot, one click to put it on. On Forever, Alt still shows Blizzard's own. Settings > General turns it off.
Quick-swap bars
- A quick-swap bar: a sets button and buttons for chosen slots, each with a flyout of what in your bags fits, ringed by quality. A slot's button uses its item (a trinket's Use:) and shows its cooldown.
- More than one quick-swap bar: Settings > Quick-swap bar adds and removes them, and each has its own slots, place, lock and look. A bar's sets button can list one group's sets alone, or be left off.
- A trinket's cooldown sweeps round its button with the time left in the middle, in large type.
- Keys on the bar are a setting (Show key bindings, off at first) and read short: "C4" for Ctrl-4.
- Size, spacing, padding and backdrop on the bar's Settings page and in its quick panel, which stays put while the bar grows.
- The padlock and gear sit stacked at the bar's right end. Drag the bar by its sets button as well as its grip, and right-click the sets button, locked or not, for the card on the set that's on.
- Open Loadout at the foot of the sets flyout opens the set card.
Bank
- Put a set in the bank or take it out from the card or the bar; the worn set's row shows it swaps back.
- At the bank the set card opens by itself, beside the bank, with To bank and From bank beside Equip. A full bank or full bags say so on the button, and Equip takes the set out of the bank and puts it on.
- A slot's flyout, on the card and on the bar, also lists what in the bank fits it. Picking one on the bar takes it out and puts it on.
- At the bank, a group's heading in the bar's sets flyout has the bank button too: one click takes every set in the group out of the bank, or puts them all in.
- Away from the bank, a banked piece sits on a gold plate and a set says how many of its pieces are in the bank.
Keys, trinket queue and automatic swaps
- Give a set a key in Settings, or a bar slot one that uses the item worn there. Keys pressed with Cmd on a Mac work too, and a modifier pressed alone keeps the box listening.
- The trinket queue swaps a trinket slot to the first trinket on your list that's ready, out of combat.
- The trinket queue waits for a used trinket's effect to wear off before swapping it out.
- The trinket queue tells the 30-second cooldown putting a trinket on starts from the cooldown using it starts: a trinket just swapped in stays, and a trinket still on its use cooldown is never swapped in, however little is left. A ready trinket stays on until it's used, even when one above it on the list is ready too, as in ItemRack.
- Proc trinkets (Tome of Fiery Redemption, Dragonspine Trophy) stay on while their buff is up, then make way while their internal cooldown runs.
- Trinket queues: several queues, each with its own trinkets, order and slots. Every set follows the default queue unless its dialog picks another, or Off to keep the queue away from it.
- Priority, the bolt on a queued trinket's row: that trinket goes on as soon as it's ready, over a ready one below it on the list (never one whose effect is up).
- The quick-swap bar sweeps a proc trinket's internal cooldown and counts it down, as it does a used trinket's.
- Automatic swaps put a set on while mounted, while swimming, in a zone or when you switch talent spec, each picked from a dropdown of your sets. Specs are named after their talent tree.
Action bar layouts
- The Action bars page in Settings saves what's on your bars under a name and puts it back with Load: all eight bars and your class's stance bars, each one ticked in or left out.
- Spells, items, macros, mounts, flyouts and equipment sets go back. Anything you can't have now sits on a red plate and its slot is left as it is.
- A layout can go on when you equip a set or switch spec, or from a macro with
/lo bars <layout>; loaded in combat, it waits for combat to end. - Edit a layout's slots the way the game's bars edit themselves: drop something on a slot, drag or click one to pick it up, right-click to empty it.
From ItemRack, import and export, bag addons
- With ItemRack loaded, its sets come in with one click: From ItemRack on a card with no sets yet, Import in
Settings > General, or
/lo import. Each set keeps its pieces, icon and key, and importing again brings only new sets. - Settings > Import & export gives a set's string, or every set's, to copy; the share button on the card or
/lo export [set]opens it on that set. Paste a string to see the sets it holds before bringing them in. A set with a name you already have replaces yours after asking, and a piece you don't own shows as missing. - Your sets in your bag addon: a category per set in BetterBags, a section per set (with the set's icon on its items) in Baganator's Equipment Sets, and a rule per set to add as a tab in Bagnon and Bagnonium. Nothing to turn on.
Reset all
- Settings > General has a Reset all button that, after asking, clears every set, the bar, keys, the trinket queue,
automatic swaps and action bar layouts on this character, without a reload.
/lo resetdoes the same.
TBC Anniversary
- Loadout runs on TBC Anniversary as well as Forever, from the same download. The bank moves sets in and out of the bank's own slots and bank bags.
