What's new
Changelog
Version 1.0.1 improves To verify (rejected points in an archive, points of your own from crafting materials, the levels you saw), pauses the farm session in towns and at merchants, values grey items at the vendor price only, leaves out recipes your faction cannot get and makes tooltips, bags and the window much smoother. Below are all changes since v1.0.0.
What's new in 1.0.1
To verify
- A point without a find after twice the kills of "doubtful" is rejected automatically and leaves the list; a later find there confirms it again. Points you rejected with the cross stay rejected.
- New page Archive: every rejected point with creature, zone, level, kills and the day it was rejected; "Restore" puts a point back on the list, and its kills count again from then on.
- The level column shows the levels of the creatures you killed there once you have killed some (the data level stays in the tooltip).
- A crafting material a creature drops where no point names it becomes a new confirmed point of your own, with its zone, your position, kills and finds; food, drinks and recipes no longer make points.
- Points that only named a group of creatures ("raptors", "bears") are gone; Raptor Egg now lists the single raptors of the Wetlands, the Excavation Site, Stranglethorn Vale and the Arathi Highlands.
- Kills on the map of a capital count for the zone around it (Thunder Bluff for Mulgore, Orgrimmar for Durotar and so on).
Tracking HUD
- The farm session pauses when you enter a capital (or its rest area), after a loading screen or your hearthstone, and while you talk to a merchant. The HUD dims and says "Paused"; that time counts neither for the duration nor for gold per hour. Your next kill or loot continues the session; without kills or loot it still ends after the set time.
Prices
- Grey (poor) items are valued at the vendor price only: the tracking HUD, the item tooltip, loot tables and value per kill, free-to-sell values, the sell list and bag marks no longer use auction prices for them.
Recipes
- Recipes your faction cannot get no longer appear in level plan routes, their material and gold needs, buy advice or To verify › To procure: that is when every known vendor or quest belongs to the other faction, the recipe was not seen in your faction's or the neutral auction house and none of your characters owns it. The recipe list hides them; the new "Unreachable" filter shows them dimmed with "Alliance only" or "Horde only". A recipe counts again as soon as it shows up in your or the neutral auction house or one of your characters owns it.
Smoother and clearer
- Item tooltips no longer stall after looting or after changes to plans: the need is prepared in the background. Right after a change, a tooltip may briefly show the item without its need.
- The equipment hint and "Also good for" are prepared for the gear in your bags, bank and equipped slots, so the first hover shows them at once.
- No short freezes after kills: farm sources and To verify find sites are prepared over several frames.
- Item tooltips stay quick with many plans and goals: the market watchlist is prepared in the background. Right after a change a tooltip may briefly show an item without its market prices.
- Fewer short stutters with many plan goals and level plan routes: goals are worked out once and in small pieces for the side bar, bag marks and tooltips.
- LJs Farm & Trade no longer adds its lines to hidden scanning tooltips of other addons; visible tooltips of other addons keep them.
- Item tooltips at merchants keep their LJs Farm & Trade lines: values the game protects are left out instead of stopping the block.
- No more long stutters after looting or changing plans while level plan routes are still being worked out: the checklist and the Plans page show "being calculated" for a moment and then fill in; opening the window or a page right after looting no longer stalls.
- Tooltips of plan route sections show "Route being calculated" while the route is worked out anew and never cause a Lua error.
/ljft diagno longer holds the game for a moment: the report is put together over a few frames and then opens.- Bag marks: working out the marks no longer causes short stutters, also with many plans, reputation goals or watched items.
- Bag marks in Ellesmere UI: updating the marks no longer makes Ellesmere redraw the whole bag, so no more short stutters after looting or changes.
- The number of To verify in the side bar is computed much faster.
- Long names and texts in lists, tiles, the farm goals HUD, the gold page and the mail warning now end in "…", with the whole text in the tooltip; money columns show the shorter amount when the whole one does not fit.
