Description
LFG Reminder shows a window with the details of the group you just joined: the activity, the zone it takes place in, and what the group was asking for. It opens on its own when a Dungeon Finder queue pops or a Group Finder application is accepted. Every line is selectable, so you can copy the details into chat or a note.
What the window shows
- Dungeon Finder — activity, zone, difficulty, and the role you queued as.
- Group Finder — activity, group type, zone, leader, member count, and the listing's item level, score, and leader score requirements.
- Selectable text — click into the window and copy any part of it.
- Draggable — move it anywhere; the position is remembered.
- Hides in combat — the window closes if a fight starts and does not reopen mid-pull.
Getting to the instance
- Show Map — opens the world map to the zone the instance is in.
- Waypoint — drops a tracked waypoint on the entrance.
- Teleport — casts your dungeon teleport for that instance if you have earned it. The button shows the remaining cooldown when it is not ready.
- Set Entrance — appears when the entrance location is not known, and records the spot you are standing in.
Entrance data
Coordinates for dungeon and raid entrances from every expansion, so the map and waypoint buttons work on old content as well as current. Anything you capture yourself is stored as an override and takes priority, and the built-in list can be rebuilt from the game client after a content patch.
Greetings
A Greet button posts a short greeting to party chat. The built-in lines change with the time of day, and you can replace them with your own in the greetings editor.
Group history
The last hundred groups you joined, with the same details and a timestamp, in case you want to look up a run after the fact.
Settings
Three switches: whether the addon is on at all, whether the window opens when you join, and whether it reopens after a UI reload if you are still in the group.
How to use
- Install the addon.
- Join a group. The window opens on its own.
- Type
