Ley Line / Elemental Convergence Tracker

Summary

Remembers every ley line and elemental convergence you find, pins them on your minimap and world map, and warns you before your buff runs out.

Description

Skyborn soak a ley line for a fifteen minute buff, and Horde players get the same from an elemental convergence. Stand beside one instead of on it and you get fifteen seconds. They don't show on your map, so the second time you want one you end up riding around trying to remember where it was.

Just cast your absorb spell. The addon reads the buff you get back: fifteen minutes means you were on one and the spot is saved, fifteen seconds means you missed and nothing is written down. Nothing to set up. You can also stand on one and type /ley add, or bind a key to it.

Spots then show up on your minimap and on the world map. A pin slides to the minimap edge and dims when one is out of range, so you still know which way to ride, and the continent view shows every spot you've found. Five minutes before your buff ends, the addon tells you how far the nearest one is and drops the game's own map pin on it, so you don't need TomTom.

Each spot knows its faction. Your Alliance characters see ley lines, your Horde characters see convergences, and all of them share one list.

Want to trade spots with a friend? /ley export gives you a short code and /ley import reads one back. Found some the addon doesn't ship with? Type /ley contribute and paste the code in the form at https://github.com/Wafhi3n/LeyLines/issues/new?template=positions.yml (only spots you confirmed with the spell go in). They're added to the list that comes with the next update, so everyone gets them.

Nothing goes over the network, sharing is copy and paste.
