This release focuses on dungeon/raid sharing, mechanic accuracy, and a full Midnight Season 2 data audit.

New

Mythic+ guide sharing

Dungeon mechanics can now be shared directly to your group.

• Added sharing support for Mythic+ dungeon reminders.
• The Share button now works for both raids and dungeons.
• During a boss encounter, KickNotes shares the relevant boss mechanics.
• Outside a boss encounter, KickNotes shares the most important interrupts and stops for the dungeon.
• Individual dungeon mechanics can also be shared directly.
• /kn share uses the same context-aware sharing system.

Dungeon shares now include the mob or boss responsible for the mechanic:

This makes it much easier for players to identify which enemy they should be watching.

Raid improvements

• Added explicit [Heroic] tags to mechanics that change or become relevant on Heroic difficulty.
• Mythic-only raid guidance is intentionally not included.
• Improved descriptions for several Heroic Venomous Abyss mechanics.
• Corrected and clarified raid boss ordering.
• The raid overview now notes that some middle bosses may be tackled in different orders depending on the route.

Midnight Season 2 data audit

All bundled Mythic+ dungeon data was reviewed against the current live Midnight Season 2 information.

Audited dungeons:

• Altar of Fangs
• Murder Row
• Den of Nalorakk
• The Blinding Vale
• Voidscar Arena
• Ruby Life Pools
• Temple of Sethraliss
• Kings' Rest

The audit included:

• Important interrupts
• Crowd-control stops
• Friendly dispels
• Enemy purges
• Enrage removal
• Boss ordering
• Mechanic severity
• Class/spec utility recommendations

Several missing or incorrectly classified mechanics were corrected or added.

Class utility improvements

Enemy buff removal is now handled more accurately.

KickNotes now distinguishes between:

• Magic buffs
• Enrages

This prevents abilities such as Spellsteal, Purge, Soothe, Shiv, and similar utility from being recommended for effects they cannot actually remove.

Friendly dispels continue to distinguish between:

• Magic
• Poison
• Disease
• Curse

Accuracy policy

KickNotes deliberately prefers conservative recommendations over guessing.

If a mechanic interaction or dispel type cannot be verified confidently, the addon will avoid recommending a potentially incorrect ability.
