KickBars

Every enemy cast, color-coded by what you can do about it: kick it, stun it, or watch it land. A glow points at the nameplate that matters, and interrupt markers stay in sync across your group. Built for Mythic+.

What's new

0.11-beta - a sound for each spell, and text you can size (2026-09-02)

  • Dungeon priority: assign a sound to an individual spell, so a cast you care about announces itself with its own alert. Turn on Enable spell sounds on the page first - sounds start off - and in dungeons a sound plays only once KickBars can tell which spell is casting. The sound controls say what they actually do, and turning sounds on is offered where you are working instead of in chat.
  • Dungeon priority: channelled casts now appear in the dungeon lists. The game reports no cast time for a channel, so they were previously left out.
  • Dungeon priority: mobs that share a spell with another mob now appear on the list instead of being left off.
  • Dungeon priority: casts from mobs that open with a channel are now recognized, so their warnings and colors work from the first pull instead of staying unknown.
  • Bars: text size and color settings for the names and timers on the bars - Luke CC asked for these on CurseForge, thanks.
  • Nameplates: the creature-type text gets its own font, size and color, the CC icon can be resized, both icon countdowns follow their icon's size, and the settings preview shows the countdowns. The countdown numbers no longer follow the settings window's font: the kick icon has its own Countdown font setting, and the CC icon's number uses the CC info text font.
  • General: a scale slider for the settings window. Everything in it grows together, menus and dialogs included.
  • Fix: sounds no longer go quiet on your marked mob while your interrupt is on cooldown.
