Description
KickBars
Know what to do about every enemy cast, the instant it starts.
KickBars watches every spell being cast on your nameplates and tells you, at a glance, what action each one needs: kick it, stop the caster, or survive it. No more squinting at cast bars or memorizing dungeon spell lists. One clean, color-coded list, a glow pointing at the mob that matters right now, and interrupt assignments that sync across your whole group.
Built for Mythic+ and group PvE.
Kick it, stop it, survive it
Every cast gets a bar, colored by the only thing you care about mid-pull: what you can do about it.
- Green - your interrupt is ready. Kick it.
- Grey - interruptible, but your kick is on cooldown. A timer tells you the exact moment it comes back, so you know whether you will make it.
- Orange - cannot be interrupted, but the caster can (possibly) be stunned, silenced, or disoriented. Stop it with crowd control instead.
- Purple - nothing stops it. The name on the bar is who it is aimed at, so a healer can pre-heal or the target can pop a defensive. This feature doesn't work reliably in instances so you will only see it in the open world.
The list sorts your priority casts first, then by what needs action soonest, so the top of the list is always the next thing to do.
Features
- Every cast, classified. Interruptible, stoppable, or unavoidable, worked out automatically and colored so you never have to think about it.
- Two new Keybinds to set. In your Options > Keybindings > AddOns. One keybind to set your claimed raid marker, and another to optionally bind your detected interrupt spell (full target + @mouseover macro functionality).
- A cooldown line you can trust. When your kick is down, the bar shows when it returns relative to the cast finishing. Commit or save it, with real information.
- Nameplate glow. A customizable outline marks the exact nameplate to act on, following your priority order. Hover it, press your keybind, done. Six animation styles and full color control.
- Group interrupt coordination. Everyone running KickBars silently shares interrupt-marker claims, so two people never mark the same target. No addon spam in chat.
- The full dungeon spell list. Every mob cast with a cast bar, per dungeon, split into what you kick and what you stop. Flag any spell a priority to pin it to the top and drive the pull marker.
- Damage estimates. Optional per-key damage figures on spell tooltips, so you know which casts actually threaten the group at your key level.
- Detects your interrupt automatically. Whatever class and spec you play, KickBars finds your interrupt, with a manual override if you want it.
- A modern, tidy settings panel. One window, live tooltips on every control, instant preview. Opens from the game's own AddOns options or with a slash command.
- Lightweight. Event-driven and easy on CPU and memory, so it stays out of your framerate's way.
Getting started
Set the two keybinds under Options > Keybindings > AddOns > KickBars (one to interrupt your mouseover, one to place your raid marker). Open the settings any time with /kickbars or /kb. That is all it needs.

Credits
- Dungeon, mob, and spell data is derived from MythicDungeonTools by Nnoggie.
- When the DamageCalculator addon is installed, KickBars reads its per-key damage figures for exact tooltip estimates. It is optional; without it, KickBars uses its own estimate.
