KickAlert

Big, unmissable interrupt alert. When your target or focus casts an interruptible spell and your kick is ready and in range, KickAlert fires three independent alerts:

• Text — a configurable word (default KICK) with font, size, outline, color, pulse and free positioning.
• Screen glow — a colored border on all four screen edges, with thickness, alpha and pulse.
• Sound — built-in presets (alarm, raidwarning, readycheck, ping, murloc), any SOUNDKIT id, or a custom file.

Each alert can be enabled, tuned or muted on its own. A KICK tag can also appear above the nameplate of any hostile unit casting an interruptible spell, without targeting it.

Smart detection. Your interrupt is detected, not configured: KickAlert picks the right spell for your class from what your character actually knows (Classic ranks included). A 0.15 s ticker checks during the whole cast, so a kick coming off cooldown mid-cast is still caught. /ka spell <id> forces an uncovered case.

Works everywhere. One addon for Classic Era, Anniversary, Forever, TBC, Wrath, Cataclysm, Mists of Pandaria Classic and retail. Settings persist on WoW Forever even though that client does not reload account SavedVariables.

Options panel. /ka or /kickalert opens a graphical panel with live preview. 11 languages plus Auto.

Commands

• /ka unlock / /ka lock — move the text, then lock it
• /ka test — play all three alerts for 3 seconds
• /ka reset — restore the text position
• /ka wipe — reset all settings and reload
• /ka spell <id> / /ka spell auto — force or auto-detect the interrupt
• /ka status — detected interrupt, availability, active options
• /ka sounds [pattern] — sounds available on this client
