### New: Compact Mode

Added a new compact/minimized view for the KIC LFG Applicant Sorter.

- Added a minimize button to the top-right corner of the sorter window.
- Compact Mode hides the full class grid, thresholds and control rows.
- Only currently selected Preferred and active Purgatory specialization icons remain visible.
- Preferred specs keep their gold border.
- Purgatory specs keep their red border.
- The compact window automatically resizes based on the number of selected specs.
- Restore the window at any time to return to the full configuration view.
- Compact Mode state is saved between sessions.
- The expanded window size is stored separately, so moving the compact window no longer changes the restored full-size layout.

### Improved Default Window Layout

- Increased the default window width.
- Adjusted the default height to fit four specialization rows at maximum icon size without unnecessary empty space.
- Existing old default-sized windows are automatically migrated to the improved layout.
- Custom larger window sizes are preserved.

### Quick Role Selection Redesign

Replaced the large text-based role buttons with compact icon buttons for:

- Tanks
- Healers
- Melee DPS
- Ranged DPS

The buttons remain left-aligned and keep the same selection behavior.

Visual states:

- Gray/desaturated: none selected
- Yellow border: partially selected
- Green border: all matching specs selected

Full descriptions and current selection states remain available through tooltips.

### New: Friend Rule

Added a new social-priority rule:

**Friend Rule: With others / Above all**

#### With others

Friends and social connections follow the normal:

**Preferred → Normal → Purgatory**

sorting rules.

#### Above all

Detected social connections are placed into a new highest-priority section above every other applicant.

The applicant list becomes:

**Purgatory**

If any member of a multi-player application is detected as a social connection, the entire application receives Friend priority.

Friend Rule can recognize Blizzard relationship information as well as supported WoW friend, guild and Battle.net relationships.

When set to **Above all**, Friend priority overrides Preferred, Normal and Purgatory placement.

### New Green Applicant Separator

- Added a green separator below the Friend section when Friend Rule is set to Above all.
- The green, yellow and red separators can coexist correctly.
- Improved handling for edge cases where multiple section boundaries occur at the same applicant row.

### New Default Settings

Fresh installations now start with:

- **Sort by RIO: ON**
- **Party Rule: Everyone must match**
- **Party Calc: Lowest**
- **Unique Classes: ON**
- **Purgatory: OFF**
- **Friend Rule: Above all**

Existing SavedVariables are preserved when updating, so existing users are not forced onto the new defaults.

### Stability & UI Improvements

- Refactored the sorter UI into smaller internal components for improved stability.
- Improved compact/full-window state handling.
- Fixed compact window movement affecting the restored expanded window dimensions.
- Improved persistent window sizing and positioning.
- General UI and internal code cleanup.
