What's new

  • Lore notes for all 29 fish, four notes each. They unlock at 10, 25, 50 and 100 caught, and each one is signed by its writer.
  • A cast of note writers from the year-one timeline, with Jolly Fisher himself as the founder whose Grimoire it is.
  • The History of the Grimoire, nine chapters that unlock as your total catches grow. You read it by clicking the big title on the first page.
  • Your name in gold on the title page, which you can set with /jf name.
  • Fixed text being cut off on the right-hand page of the book.
  • Banners on screen when a lore note unlocks and when a new history chapter opens.
  • Lore unlocks now count separately for each character.
  • Fixed the addon failing to load and the minimap button vanishing. The cause was the file going over Lua’s limit of 200 local names, so I now check that count before every build.
  • A “First catch!” banner the first time you catch anything new. It says a new page has been added to the Grimoire.
  • The stats window became a parchment scroll that you can make longer by dragging its bottom.
  • Save spot and Recipe notes moved onto the book. The scroll keeps the Grimoire and Drop pool buttons.
  • “This session” was renamed to “This fishing trip”.
  • Right now, This fishing trip and Cast timing stay pinned at the top of the scroll and never scroll away.
  • Each catch now fits on one line, and the times are still saved but no longer shown.
  • The price moved into the cast list, which was renamed Recent catches, and the old separate list was removed.
  • Clicking a line in Recent catches opens the Grimoire to that fish’s page.
  • A catch that unlocked a lore note now shows its fish name in blue in Recent catches, with a tooltip that says so.
