v0.1.70-forever
What's new
Changelog
0.1.70 (2026-10-13)
Improved
- The Jebbie's menu is one short list: one row per addon plus the guide areas and Shared settings, each opening its tools in a side menu, so the menu stays short however many mods you install.
0.1.69 (2026-10-10)
Improved
- One guidance arrow at a time: starting a farm loop takes over the arrow from the Almanac, and stopping it returns you to your route.
Fixed
- The minimap and hub buttons no longer act on frames before they exist or after they close.
0.1.68 (2026-10-10)
Improved
- Comprehension scroll tips follow the Oct 8 beta: stand still to cast scrolls, the Research skill may be out of reach for now, and the Scroll of Liminal Passage may not work yet.
0.1.67 (2026-10-10)
Fixed
- Windows, cards and popups now size to their text: nothing runs past a frame's edge or under its corner ornaments, long lists and the Settings page scroll instead of growing off the screen, and slider labels no longer sit on the next setting.
0.1.66 (2026-10-10)
Improved
- The guide arrow's label is short and clear: the distance (always shown), the target and what to do there, plus a one-line hint for where to look; a small "behind you" tag replaces the big title, and the badge shows the step type.
0.1.65 (2026-10-10)
Improved
- The Jebbie's look is no longer boxy: rounded brass-trimmed windows, painted leather panels, real buttons with hover and pressed states, and cards for each item (a "Classic flat look" setting brings back the old style).
- New painted icons for every row, including each profession, gathering, farm loops and every settings row.
- Lua errors from Jebbie's mods are now saved automatically so they can reach us through the launcher (turn off with "Send error reports"); /jbug errors lists the last few.
0.1.64 (2026-10-10)
Fixed
- Opening some windows could cause a Lua error ("bad argument #3 to SetFont") on the Forever client, first seen opening the Dungeon Journal. Text boxes now always get the font settings the client requires.
0.1.63 (2026-10-10)
Improved
- One Scale and Text size for every Jebbie's mod: set it once (in any mod or the Jebbie's menu) and every window follows. Your Almanac setting carries over.
- Brighter, easier-to-read text: near-white body text, stronger quest gold and a clearer blue, with a light shadow, plus a "Bright text" setting. Windows grow taller with scale and have a resize grip in the corner.
0.1.62 (2026-10-10)
New
- Mage Comprehension scrolls: the tooltip says what the scroll needs, what you have, and whether to keep and decipher it, so Satchel never tells a Mage to sell research scrolls. The scroll data is from the public beta and marked unverified.
Improved
- New painted icons in the Jebbie's menu, including Satchel's own satchel icon.
- In the guide window, long steps no longer run into the next one: rows grow to fit their text, the list scrolls when it's long, and a padlock in the title bar locks or unlocks the window.
- /jbug tells players without the launcher where to send a report: jebbiesmods.com/bug.
0.1.61 (2026-10-09)
Improved
- Every piece of Satchel's own text is ready for translation, so other languages can be added later. English is unchanged.
- Satchel now uses the same window style library (JebbiesUI ui-15) as the Almanac and Ledger.
0.1.60 (2026-10-09)
New
- A short welcome the first time you log in, saying what Satchel does and how to see nearby herbs, ore and chests. Type /satchel help to see it again.
Improved
- Settings and history carry over safely from every earlier version, and a damaged settings file now keeps everything it can instead of starting over.
- Finding nearby nodes is faster: under a millisecond even with every node in the world loaded.
- If the game is missing a function Satchel uses for loot sources or recipes, Satchel falls back quietly instead of erroring.
0.1.59 (2026-10-04)
Improved
- While you are dead or a ghost, the farm loop arrow steps aside so the way back to your corpse is clear. It comes back at the same stop once you are alive again.
0.1.58 (2026-09-28)
Improved
- In the shared guide window's flyout, the Farm loops area's "Somewhere else" now works right in the pane. Pick a node type, then a zone with its known count, and the loop is planned there. Back goes up a step. The Settings entry has its gear (JebbiesUI ui-14).
0.1.57 (2026-09-28)
Improved
- Jebbie's Satchel is packaged for CurseForge and Wago as well as Jebbie's Mods, with the same 13 folders.
0.1.56 (2026-09-28)
New
- The shared guide window's new Guides flyout (JebbiesUI ui-13). The Satchel shows on its rail with a live line ("Copper loop · stop 3 of 18"). Its gathering guides sit under Gathering and its crafting guides under Professions. The Farm loops area offers a loop for your zone's nodes, or somewhere else.
- Tabs have a close button.
0.1.55 (2026-09-28)
Fixed
- In the shared guide window, a Satchel guide tab brought back at login no longer sits on "Loading...": it loads its guide when shown. The arrow also comes back by itself after combat (JebbiesUI ui-12).
0.1.54 (2026-09-28)
New
- Trainer windows are read too. Each trainer you visit is kept: who, where, which side, and every service with its skill and level needs and cost. A profession guide now points at the trainers you have seen, and a trainer WoW Forever added is marked "learned from Forever".
- Forever notes in the guides: each guide says what Forever changed for it. For example: campsite objects at skill 20 and Blueprint drops, Basic Campfires for Cooking, the Tanning Rack for Leatherworking, shared corpses for Skinning, new starting-zone trainers and Bountiful Harvest for the gathering guides. What only players report is marked as such.
- The Alchemy steps that make Healing Potions say what to make instead if your trainer no longer has them (players report they moved to First Aid). Opening your Alchemy and First Aid windows records the real lists.
0.1.53 (2026-09-28)
Fixed
- Share codes now carry nodes found in WoW Forever's new zones (Zephras Isle and the rest, on world instances 1.12 never had); a friend's code with them used to reject them.
- After a group change (which in WoW Forever can move you to another copy of the world), respawn timers from before are set aside, since those nodes may be up where you are now. It says so once.
Improved
- Tested in a new Forever zone with no 1.12 data: your finds become its pins on both maps, nearby nodes and farm loops work there, and nothing errors.
0.1.52 (2026-09-28)
New
- The Satchel reads your profession windows. Whenever a profession window is open (Skinning, Mining and the rest have them in WoW Forever), it keeps every recipe the game shows: its category, reagents and counts, what it makes, its difficulty and description, per profession and game build.
- Recipes that 1.12 never had are marked "learned from Forever" and said once in chat, for example Skinning's Camp Chair (Camping). Their reagents' tooltips name them ("Used in: Skinning (Camp Chair)"), and the profession's guide lists them at the end.
- Where such a reagent comes from is noted when you see it (looted from what, gathered from which node, sold by which vendor) and shown on its tooltip. /satchel trades lists what has been seen. Read only: nothing is crafted, bought or looted for you.
0.1.51 (2026-09-28)
New
- Tauren Cultivation (WoW Forever): a Tauren gathers herbs at player level of at least a fifth of the herb's skill. The Satchel now counts that as herb skill level x 5 (or your Herbalism, if higher) for herb pins and their colours, farm loops, and node tooltips ("Cultivation: your level gathers herbs up to 100"). A Tauren without Herbalism sees herb pins too. Your Herbalism skill itself, and the guides, are unchanged.
0.1.50 (2026-09-28)
Fixed
- Several swings at one vein or herb count as one gather, not one per swing, so a node you mined once no longer says "gathered 4 times".
- Skinning one beast no longer puts a respawn timer on its whole area, and skinning several beasts no longer teaches the Satchel a made-up beast "respawn". Any such figures already saved are dropped.
0.1.49 (2026-09-28)
New
- In the shared guide window's menu, the Satchel's map switches (herbs, ore, treasure, pins and so on) and the farm loop size are side menus you tick in place, and the window itself gets scale, opacity, text size, width, lock and reset.
Improved
- The shared window library is updated (JebbiesUI ui-11).
0.1.48 (2026-09-28)
Improved
- In the shared guide window:
- the loop tab numbers its stops and shows the zone, how many stops and which lap you are on;
- ticking a stop's box counts it as done, and the loop carries on from there;
- guide tabs show their lines without checkboxes.
- The shared window library is updated (JebbiesUI ui-9).
0.1.47 (2026-09-28)
New
- In the shared guide window, the Fishing guide's tab puts a Fishing Pole button beside the window. Clicking it (or its key binding) equips your pole. It is your click that does it; nothing is used for you.
Improved
- The shared window library is updated (JebbiesUI ui-8).
0.1.46 (2026-09-28)
New
- One arrow. With the shared guide window up (/satchel window), its arrow follows whichever tab is active, with a pick or leaf badge on the Copper loop tab, and sets the waypoint. The Satchel's own loop arrow steps aside while it does, and the loop keeps tracking in the background. Close the window and the Satchel's arrow is back.
Improved
- With Jebbie's Almanac installed too, the guide viewer and menu show one guide per profession: the Satchel's, when its pack is installed.
- The shared window library is updated (JebbiesUI ui-7).
0.1.45 (2026-09-28)
New
- The shared guide window's viewer (Browse all guides, at the top of its menu) lists the Satchel's 12 profession guides in order, with a short summary of each and your skill, and Follow this guide to open it as a tab. The menu keeps them to one line so it stays short.
Improved
- The shared window library is updated (JebbiesUI ui-5).
0.1.44 (2026-09-28)
New
- The shared guide window's menu (the "=" or "+" button, with /satchel window on) lists the Satchel's guides by kind, plus: a farm loop for your zone, rejoin or stop the loop you are on, the Satchel menu, settings, Report a problem, and Classic windows to go back to the Satchel's own.
Improved
- The shared window library is updated (JebbiesUI ui-3). It redraws less during a loop, and it keeps your layout per character.
0.1.43 (2026-09-28)
New
- The shared Jebbie's guide window (try it: /satchel window, or the Satchel menu). The Satchel now carries the family's shared guide window in its Lantern Dark look, the same one the Almanac uses. With it switched on:
- the guides you open become tabs;
- a farm loop becomes a tab of its own (the Copper loop tab), with every stop, how far each is from the one before, and which are respawning;
- clicking the loop arrow shows that tab.
- Everything else stays as it is, and with it switched off (the default for now) the Satchel's own windows work as before. The shared arrow comes in a later release.
0.1.42 (2026-09-28)
Fixed
- The Report a problem form keeps a long report inside its box: the text scrolls in a box of fixed height, the name checkbox and Send stay below it, and a counter shows how much of the 2000 characters you have used.
0.1.41 (2026-09-28)
New
- Rejoin a farm loop where you are. Wander off a loop (questing, say) and come back somewhere else, and the loop no longer sends you back to the stop you left. If the next stop is far (over 150 yards, or three times the nearest one) and a ready stop is much closer, it picks up there: "Rejoined the copper loop at stop 17 (20 yd)". The stops you skipped come around on the next lap, never as a U-turn. It happens when you log in or reload, and after you have been off the loop for 20 seconds. It never jumps while you are heading for the next stop.
- A ready loop stop within 40 yards that is not your next one gets a short chat nudge (at most once a minute), and gathering any stop of the loop carries it on from there.
- A Rejoin nearest button in the loop plan, and /satchel loop rejoin.
0.1.40 (2026-09-28)
Improved
- Farm loops are shorter walks: after the usual untangling, any stop that fits better between two others is moved there, so the circuit no longer darts out to one stop and back.
- If you walk past the next stop toward a later one that is much closer (under 30 yards and under half the distance), the loop takes the close one first and picks up the one you passed right after, when that is the shorter walk.
- The loop plan shows how far the next stop is from you, then the walk from each stop to the next ("+42 yd"), so you can see the route.
0.1.39 (2026-09-27)
Fixed
- A farm loop no longer sends you back to stop 1. When every stop ahead was still respawning (after a lap, or a break to cook), the loop pointed at whichever stop would be back first, often one far behind you. Now it keeps going forward to the next stop in order.
- A loop resumed after a reload goes back to the stop you were heading to, even if new finds changed its stops, instead of starting over.
- Smelting no longer counts as gathering a node.
0.1.38 (2026-09-27)
New
- Click a pin to go there: left-click any Satchel pin on the world map or minimap to set the game's waypoint on it (with the arrow at the edge of your screen). Shift-click puts a map link for it in your chat box, ready to send or not. Right-click for Set waypoint, Farm loop from here (a loop around that spot, starting there) and Hide this pin. /satchel unhide brings hidden pins back.
- Pin tooltips say what a click does. Clicks off a pin still go to the map and to other addons' pins as before.
0.1.37 (2026-09-27)
New
- Loop plan: click the loop arrow, or Farm loop plan in the menu, or /satchel loop plan, for a small list of the next 15 stops, each with its map coordinates, how far it is, and ready or back in about N minutes. The next stop is highlighted.
Improved
- Farm loops no longer pick stops right on top of each other: stops are at least 40 yards apart, so a loop near Goldshire spreads out instead of piling up.
- On the world map only the next five stops are numbered; the rest are small pins, so the numbers stay readable. The loop's path is bolder and brighter.
- The fishing line on zone maps sits clear of the map's tracking button and reads "Fishing here: any skill (yours: 1)".
0.1.36 (2026-09-27)
New
- Item tooltips for Mining: ore says what it smelts into ("Smelted into: Copper Bar (Mining 1)"), and bars say what they are smelted from and into ("Smelted from: 1 Copper Bar + 1 Tin Bar (Mining 65, makes 2)").
- Leather, hides and scraps say which beasts they are skinned from, with levels and the zone with the most of them. Beasts you can skin at your skill and on your continent come first ("Skinned from: Prairie Wolf (level 5 to 6, Westfall 40)"). Hold Shift for five.
- A switch for each of the two new lines.
Improved
- "Used in" groups recipes by profession: "Engineering (Handful of Copper Bolts, Copper Tube)".
0.1.35 (2026-09-27)
New
- When a skill reaches its rank's cap (75, 150 or 225) the Satchel says so once and points you to the trainer, for every gathering and crafting skill.
- Recipe guides you have opened are followed: when your skill passes the end of a band, it says the band is done and what to make next.
- With Jebbie's Voices 0.1.7: lines when a farm loop starts, when you finish a lap, when a rank is ready and when a guide band is done.
Improved
- /satchel probe ends with one line of facts to paste back (tooltip hook, facing, arrow rotation, sell prices, guide packs and more), for checking a new client quickly.
0.1.34 (2026-09-27)
New
- What's this worth? on item tooltips, advice only:
- the vendor sell price, each and for a full stack;
- "Used in:" the professions and recipes that use it, with the guides' path recipes first;
- "You need 68 for your Tailoring band (125 to 140)" for the professions you have;
- "Gathered from: Copper Vein (Dun Morogh 153 known)", preferring your zone and continent. Alt-click the item to plan a farm loop there.
- The tooltip gets three lines at most; hold Shift for every recipe, band and zone. Each line has its own switch in the settings.
0.1.33 (2026-09-27)
New
- An arrow to the farm loop's next stop: a small on-screen arrow turns toward the next stop as you move, with "Stop 7 of 30, 85 yd" under it, and goes green within 30 yards. While a loop waits for you to reach its zone it says where to travel. Drag it anywhere; it hides in combat, and "Farm loop: arrow to the next stop" in the settings switches it off.
0.1.32 (2026-09-27)
New
- The farm loop drawn on the world map: a dotted path joins the stops, with the leg to your next stop in green and the rest in gold. Every stop shows its number.
Improved
- Loop stops waiting to respawn are dimmed but keep their number, and the tooltip says the loop is skipping them and when they are back.
0.1.31 (2026-09-27)
New
- Plan a farm loop anywhere. Farm loop > Somewhere else lists the herbs and ore you can gather, then the zones with the most known nodes of that type (1.12 data plus your own finds). If you are not there yet, the loop waits with the waypoint on stop 1 and starts at the stop nearest you when you arrive. Also /satchel loop mithril in tanaris.
- Loop size: tight (30 stops), wide (60) or the whole zone (up to 120), from the Farm loop menu or /satchel loop size.
Improved
- A farm loop is saved for each character and resumes after /reload or logging out.
0.1.30 (2026-09-27)
Improved
- Guide packs are optional: Jebbie's Mods can leave any profession guide out, and the Satchel's menu and /satchel guide offer only the packs that are installed.
- The Engineering guide's Inlaid Mithril Cylinder Plans step says it is Gnomish-only in 1.12, and that a Goblin engineer makes about 7 Mithril Tube instead.
0.1.29 (2026-09-27)
New
- Enchanting guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Enchanting): the enchant, wand or oil for each band from Enchant Bracer - Minor Health to Enchant Gloves - Greater Agility, the rods to make first, the dusts, essences and shards it takes with the item levels of green items to disenchant for each, the vendor reagents and the nearest seller, and the shopping list.
Improved
- Every recipe guide and shopping list now names the tools a band needs, such as a Blacksmith Hammer or a Runed Copper Rod, and says whether you make it or where to buy it.
0.1.28 (2026-09-27)
New
- Alchemy guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Alchemy): the potion or elixir for each band from Minor Healing Potion to Elixir of Brute Force, the herbs it takes (with the Herbalism guide), the vials to buy and the nearest seller, and the shopping list. Transmutes have a cooldown and are listed under "Also out there", never on the path.
0.1.27 (2026-09-27)
New
- Engineering guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Engineering): blasting powders, bolts, tubes, contacts, gizmos, power cores, casings and widgets up to the Steam Tonk Controller, with the parts and bars to make first, the ore, stones and cloth they take and where each comes from, and the shopping list. At 200 it shows Gnomish or Goblin Engineering and the Show Your Work quest with its giver for your side.
0.1.26 (2026-09-27)
New
- Blacksmithing guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Blacksmithing): sharpening and grinding stones, copper, bronze, iron, mithril and thorium steps, the bars to smelt first (with the Mining guide), the ore and stones you mine, flux and leather, and the shopping list. At 200 it shows Weaponsmith or Armorsmith, then the Master Axesmith, Hammersmith and Swordsmith quests at 250, with who gives each for your side.
Improved
- All recipe guides steer around recipes that need rare drops or elementals, and recipes only one class can learn go under "Also out there". Stones, gems and second herbs from your own gathering count as gathered. The Cooking path now runs Crab Cake, Dry Pork Ribs, Hot Lion Chops, Barbecued Buzzard Wing, Spider Sausage, Spiced Chili Crab and Smoked Desert Dumplings.
0.1.25 (2026-09-27)
New
- Leatherworking guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Leatherworking): each band's item and count, how to learn it, the leather, hides, salt, thread and dye it takes and where each comes from, and the shopping list. At 225 it shows the three specializations (Dragonscale, Elemental, Tribal) with the quest giver for your side; recipes that need one are listed under "Also out there", never on the path.
Fixed
- Recipe guides no longer break leather you skin into scraps or ore you mine into smaller parts; only parts you have to make (bolts, bars, cured hides) are broken down.
0.1.24 (2026-09-27)
New
- Tailoring guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Tailoring): for each band what to sew and about how many, where to learn it, the bolts to weave first, and every material down to the cloth, thread, dye and leather it takes, with where each comes from (the nearest vendor for your side, the creatures that drop it, or your own gathering).
- Shopping list on the recipe guides: everything from your skill to your rank's cap and to 300, with the parts to make first, in a box you can copy into chat or a note.
- Also out there: recipes from rare drops, world drops, reputation or limited vendors, and ones with a cooldown (such as Mooncloth), listed under the path and never on it.
Improved
- The First Aid and Cooking guides show the parts to make first and the "Also out there" list too, and the recipe path prefers recipes whose materials a vendor sells or you can gather in bulk.
0.1.23 (2026-09-27)
New
- Fishing guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Fishing): for each rank's band, the zones where your skill catches fish (the zones on your continent first), where to buy a fishing pole and each lure with its bonus (Shiny Bauble +25 to Aquadynamic Fish Attractor +100) from the nearest seller for your side, and the ranks: Expert from Expert Fishing - The Bass and You (Old Man Heming), Artisan from Nat Pagle's quest.
/satchel guide fishing.
Improved
- The Cooking guide finds recipe, spice and water sellers for both sides, not only the first few Alliance ones.
0.1.22 (2026-09-27)
New
- Cooking guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Cooking): for each band, the dish to cook and about how many, where to learn the recipe (a trainer, or the recipe and the nearest vendor that sells it), the meat and what drops it, spices and water from the nearest vendor, and fish with the zones to catch them. Expert from the Expert Cookbook and its sellers; Artisan from the Clamlette Surprise quest (Dirge Quikcleave in Gadgetzan).
/satchel guide cooking.
0.1.21 (2026-09-27)
New
- First Aid guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_FirstAid): for each band, the bandage to make and about how many, where to learn it (a trainer and its fee, or the manual and the nearest vendor), and the cloth it takes with the creatures that drop it most. The ranks: Journeyman at a trainer, Expert from the book Expert First Aid - Under Wraps and the nearest seller, Artisan from the Triage quest (Doctor Gustaf VanHowzen for the Alliance, Doctor Gregory Victor for the Horde).
/satchel guide first aid.
0.1.20 (2026-09-27)
New
- Skinning guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Skinning): twelve bands of 25 points, each with the highest beast level you can skin there, the beasts with the most spawns at that level and where they roam, and when to train the next rank.
/satchel guide skinning.
0.1.19 (2026-09-27)
New
- Herbalism guide, 1 to 300, its own pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Herbalism): twelve bands from Silverleaf and Peacebloom to Icecap and Plaguebloom, each with the herbs that give skill-ups there (orange first, then the most common) and where they grow, what opens inside the band, and when to train the next rank.
/satchel guide herbalism.
Improved
- The Mining guide lists the veins that give a skill-up every time first, then the most common.
0.1.18 (2026-09-27)
New
- Mining guide, 1 to 300, a separate pack (folder JebbiesSatchel_Guide_Mining) that loads only when you open it: the Jebbie button's menu, Profession guides, or
/satchel guide mining. It shows your skill and rank, the band you are in and the next one, what to mine in each and the zones where it clusters (counting the veins you found), what opens inside a band, and the next trainer rank with its skill, level, cost and the nearest trainer for your side. It follows you as you skill up. - The Herbalism and Skinning guides follow in the next releases, each in its own folder.
0.1.17 (2026-09-27)
New
- Share discoveries (
/satchel share, the quick menu, or Satchel settings, Help): your nodes found in Forever and your fishing spots become a code to copy and give a friend however you like. Paste a friend's code and Import: the Satchel checks it, adds only the places you do not have, and marks them "from a friend". Nothing is sent anywhere; a code holds node names and places only. - A switch for friends' nodes, in Satchel settings and the quick menu.
Improved
- For Jebbie's Almanac: nearby nodes now carry their respawn countdown, a "ready" option leaves out nodes still respawning, and the Almanac can ask the Satchel to show one node type.
0.1.16 (2026-09-27)
New
- Respawns: a node you just gathered is dimmed on the maps, and its tooltip says when it should be back ("back in about 5 minutes", or "may be back now, at the latest in 8 minutes"). The times come from the 1.12 world data; for nodes the data lacks, from how long they took when you gathered them again, else a guess.
- The farm loop skips stops still waiting to respawn and points at the next one ready. If all are waiting, it points at the one back soonest.
- A skill-up that opens new nodes says so in chat ("New to gather: Mageroyal"), and Jebbie's Voices gets its skill_band_up line.
0.1.15 (2026-09-27)
New
- Continent maps show one pin per zone with how many of the nodes you track are there, marked with the most common one's icon. Hover for the top kinds, click to open that zone's map. The pins follow your filters, and a switch on the Maps tab of Satchel settings turns them off.
0.1.14 (2026-09-27)
New
- What's next (the minimap button's menu, or
/satchel next): for Herbalism and Mining, the nodes that give skill-ups at your skill now, the next ones you unlock and at what skill, and the zones where each clusters, with how many nodes. Show puts only that node on your map. It updates as you skill up. - Jebbie's Almanac can ask the Satchel the same (what gives skill-ups, what is next, and where) for its profession guide.
0.1.13 (2026-09-27)
New
- Fishing pools: a catch from a pool (Oily Blackmouth School, Firefin Snapper School and the others) marks that pool by name on your map; open water stays a fishing spot. A pool the 1.12 data never had shows as a Fishing pool.
- Hotspots: a spot with ten catches or more says so, and every spot's tooltip lists what you caught there.
- Each zone map shows the fishing skill that zone needs to catch anything, and yours, in green or red.
- A Fishing tab in Satchel settings lists all 47 zones with the skill they need, green where you can fish, and sums up your spots.
/satchel fishsays the same for the zone you are in, with your busiest spots.
0.1.12 (2026-09-27)
New
- Skinning: areas with beasts you can skin show on the world map and minimap when your character has Skinning, one pin per area with the beast, its level, how many roam there and the Skinning it needs, colored by your skill. 968 areas of 484 beasts from the 1.12 world data; critters are left out.
- Skinning a beast counts on its area, like a gather. The Skinnable beasts switch is in Satchel settings and the quick menu, and hiding gray nodes hides beasts too easy for you.
0.1.11 (2026-09-27)
Improved
- A problem while the Satchel loads is now kept in its saved bug list, naming the file that did not finish, so the Jebbie's Mods app can send it even when the in-game form cannot open. The report prompt waits until the game has finished loading.
- Game events are registered through a guard, so an event a client does not have is skipped instead of stopping the addon from loading.
0.1.10 (2026-09-27)
Improved
- The four minimap icons and the AddOns list icon wear the same gold rim as Jebbie's Almanac's button, so the family's buttons match.
0.1.9 (2026-09-27)
New
- Choose the minimap button's icon: four satchel icons on the Maps tab of Satchel settings. The choice is kept for your whole account.
Improved
- The Satchel has its own icon, a herb and a pickaxe over ore, on the minimap button and in the AddOns list, so it no longer looks like Jebbie's Almanac next to it. Jebbie's portrait stays in the settings window.
0.1.8 (2026-09-27)
Fixed
- With Jebbie's Voices, walking onto a farm loop stop now plays "right on it" before the loop moves on. The loop moved on at 8 yards, before the 6-yard line could play.
0.1.7 (2026-09-27)
Improved
- The farm loop moves to the next stop when you gather there or stand on it (within 8 yards), not from 30 yards away, so Jebbie's Voices can say "right on it" first. If someone took the node, standing close for 3 seconds without gathering moves the loop on anyway.
0.1.6 (2026-09-27)
New
- With Jebbie's Voices installed, Jebbie speaks up while you gather: when you get close to the farm loop's next stop (or the nearest node of the type you focus on), when you are right on it, when a gather is recorded, and when the loop moves on. Without Voices nothing changes.
0.1.5 (2026-09-27)
New
- What are you gathering? The map now shows what your character gathers: Herbalism shows herbs, Mining shows ore, and treasure chests only when you switch them on. A character with neither sees nothing, with one note saying how to pick.
- Pick exact nodes. Satchel settings has a Herbs, a Mining and a Treasure tab listing every node type with its game icon and the skill it needs. Tick exactly what you want (only Peacebloom and Copper, say), or use All, None, All I can gather, or From my professions. Per character.
- Satchel settings window, at the top of the Jebbie button's right-click menu (or
/satchel settings): what to show, world map and minimap pins, pin sizes, merging, minimap range, hiding what you just gathered, the farm loop, reporting a problem, and help. The quick switches stay in the menu under it. - Nearby nodes of the same kind on the world map share one pin with a count (40 yards by default; change it or turn it off on the Maps tab).
- The minimap can show only nodes within 50, 100 or 200 yards, and nodes you gathered in the last 5 to 30 minutes can be hidden until they respawn.
Improved
- Each pin shows the icon of the herb or ore it gives, and the tooltip says what it gives.
- The world map shows nodes only for the zone you are looking at. Pins from neighbouring zones no longer spill over its edges, and continent maps stay clear.
Fixed
- Treasure chests no longer flood the map by default; characters from earlier versions get the quieter setting once.
0.1.4 (2026-09-27)
Improved
- Jebbie has her toon look, drawn by Jason, the same as in Jebbie's Almanac: on the minimap button and as the Satchel's icon in the AddOns list.
0.1.3 (2026-09-27)
New
/satchel bug testmakes a report marked as a test, to check that reporting works end to end. The site labels it and closes it by itself.
0.1.2 (2026-09-27)
New
- Report a problem from the game: "Report a problem" in the minimap button's menu, or
/satchel bug. Pick what went wrong, say what happened, and choose whether to include your character name (off unless you tick it). The report comes with what helps the fix: where you stood, the nearest nodes, your skills, filters and farm loop. Copy the report code it shows and paste it at jebbiesmods.com/bug. - If the Satchel itself hits a Lua error, a small "Jebbie hit a snag. Report it?" prompt offers to report it, once per problem and never during a fight. Other addons' errors are never touched.
0.1.1 (2026-09-27)
Improved
- Jebbie has her new look, the same as in Jebbie's Almanac: on the minimap button and as the Satchel's icon in the AddOns list.
0.1.0 (2026-09-27)
New
- Herbs, mining nodes and treasure chests of the old world on your world map and minimap: 20,544 nodes of 58 types from the vMaNGOS 1.12 world data, on Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. The minimap pins turn with a rotating minimap.
- Hover a pin to see the node, the skill it needs, your skill in the game's own colors (orange, yellow, green, gray; dimmed when you cannot gather it yet), how often you gathered there and when, and whether it comes from the 1.12 data or you found it in Forever.
- Filters for each character: herbs, ore, treasure and fishing spots; only what you can gather at your skill; hide nodes too easy for skill-ups; your Forever finds; focus on one node type.
- Every herb, ore and treasure you gather is remembered where you stand. A node the 1.12 data does not have there is saved as found in Forever, so the map learns what Forever changed.
- Every catch becomes a fishing spot on your map, with what you caught there.
- When you hover a node in the world, the skill number Forever's own tooltip shows replaces the 1.12 number, so lockpicking levels and any changed thresholds fill in as you play.
- Farm loop: pick a herb or ore and get a short walking loop over its densest cluster in your zone, with numbered stops on the map and the game waypoint moving to the next stop as you arrive.
- Jebbie's minimap button: left-click turns pins on or off, right-click opens the menu, drag moves it. Also in the addon compartment, the settings panel, and
/satchelcommands, including/satchel nearand/satchel probe. - Jebbie's Almanac can point its gathering steps at the nearest node when the Satchel is installed.
- One-command updater:
python3 tools/update.py(orupdate.command,update.bat) says which version the game had and which it has now.
