0.7.1

New

  • Verdict line: every gear tooltip now starts with one clear answer: EQUIP IT, SELL ON AUCTION HOUSE, VENDOR IT, or DISENCHANT IT. It picks whichever is worth the most, after the auction house cut. Disenchanting is only suggested if you are an enchanter.
  • Disenchant value: shows roughly what the disenchant materials are worth, based on auction prices. Browse those materials on the auction house once to get prices.
  • Loot roll hint: the Need/Greed window now shows whether the item is an upgrade and what to roll.
  • Quest reward pick: marks the best reward for your spec, or the one that sells for the most if none is an upgrade.
  • Alt check: shows when an item is an upgrade for one of your other characters on the same realm. Log in to each alt once so its gear is saved. Covers armor and jewelry.
  • Chat links: click an item link in chat and the tooltip gets the same breakdown. Items you don't own show UPGRADE FOR YOU or NOT AN UPGRADE.
  • Settings page: turn any tooltip line or feature on or off under Options > AddOns > IsThisGearGood.

Changed

  • Clicking the minimap button now opens the settings page, where you pick your spec and toggle features. Typing /itgg or /itgg options opens it too.

Fixed

  • "Equip:" bonuses such as spell damage and healing now count toward the upgrade check. Caster items no longer show "No scored stats".
  • Off-hand items no longer show as an upgrade while you have a two-handed weapon equipped.

Notes

  • Loot roll and quest reward markers fall back to a chat message if the game window can't be marked.
  • Found a bug? Type /itgg debug, reproduce it, and post what it prints in the comments.
