InYourFace Notes (IYFN)

Stop forgetting the important stuff. Get reminded when you actually have time to fix it.

/note in chat to add note

Whenever you enter a Rested Area (a capital city or inn), your notes will appear. Do the task immediately and click 'Done', or snooze it by clicking 'Later' to put the reminder on a 30-minute cooldown.

The Problem

You’re in the middle of a raid or deep in a leveling zone, and you suddenly realize you forgot to check the Auction House, train new skills, or restock on potions. You tell yourself: "I'll do it as soon as I get back to town." But when you finally hearthstone back… you instantly queue for the next dungeon and completely forget about it.

The Solution

InYourFace Notes (IYFN) is a lightweight, minimalist to-do list designed for the forgetful adventurer. Instead of nagging you while you are busy, IYFN waits until you enter a Rested Area (Cities or Inns). The moment you step into a safe zone, your notes literally pop up in your face, reminding you of what you need to do exactly when you have the time to do it.

Key Features

• Smart Auto-Popup: The notes window automatically triggers when you gain the "Rested" status.
• The "Later" Button: Just doing a quick bank run and don't want to be bothered? Hit the Later button at the bottom of the window to put the auto-popup on a 30-minute cooldown.
• Quick & Short: Use /note [text] to quickly jot down a thought from anywhere in the world. (Max 100 characters to keep your lists clean and actionable).
• Satisfying Completion: Click the "Done" button next to any note to instantly cross it off your list.
• Modern, Clean UI: Built with a flat, dark, minimalist design that looks amazing alongside UI overhauls like ElvUI or Tukui.
• Always Accessible: Access your notes at any time using the included minimap button.

Chat Commands

• /note [text] – Adds a new note directly to your list (e.g., /note Buy more Arcane Dust).
• /notes or /iyfn – Manually opens or closes the notes window.
