PLEASE READ — IMPORTANT
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE THE TRACKING PROVIDED BY THE CURRENT RELEASE, DO NOT UPDATE TO 9.7. Stay on the CURRENT version until Midnight is released (or until I publish a follow-up that restores compatible tracking). Updating to 9.7 will remove combat-related tracking immediately.

[9.7] - 2025-12-02
Compatible with: 11.2.7 and 12.0 Midnight Beta

Removed:
All enemy healer detection.
All enemy cooldown detection and tracking.

Why was this removed?
The new "Midnight" API changes prevent the addon from reliably accessing the combat-related information that powered enemy healer detection and enemy cooldown tracking. To remain compatible with the platform changes and to prepare the codebase for the coming Midnight-era updates, combat-related features have been removed in this release.

 Impact for users
Enemy healer indicators and enemy cooldown alerts will no longer appear after updating to 9.7.
Related configuration options may be ignored or removed, and saved data for those options may be deleted in future releases.
Non-combat features of the addon remain available. Check the addon UI after updating to confirm active features.

Migration & recommended actions:
BACKUP your addon saved variables if you want to preserve custom settings before updating.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOSE TRACKING: Do NOT update to 9.7. Remain on your current version until Midnight is released or a compatible alternative is provided.
If you rely on these features and must update, consider temporary alternatives (third-party addons) that may offer similar functionality — note those addons must also be compatible with Midnight when it arrives.

Future
This release intentionally removes combat-related info to give users a preview of the transition to Midnight and to make the codebase easier to adapt to the new model.
I will monitor Midnight's API and the community guidance; if and when a safe, compliant, and reliable approach becomes available, I will evaluate reintroducing equivalent features.
