Improved Tooltips
Modern tooltips with player item level, spec and M+ score, mob kill counts, and item counts across your banks.
Features
- Modern look: flat dark background and a thin border coloured by class, reaction or item quality, with a slim health bar.
- Players: item level (compared with yours), spec, M+ score and highest key completed. Works on your own tooltip too.
- Mobs: creature family, NPC ID, and how many times this character has killed that NPC (
10.567Kstyle for big numbers). - Items: how many you own in bags, bank and warband bank; vendor value of all of it; and auction value when Auctionator or TradeSkillMaster is installed.
- Less clutter: hides the PvP line, the faction line and the unit frame "right click" hint.
Every feature can be turned off in Options > AddOns > Improved Tooltips, or with /itt toggle <module>.

Known limits
- Player info needs a server inspect, so it appears about a second after you hover someone, only out of combat and within inspect range.
- Kills inside boss encounters and Mythic+ are not counted: the game hides mob identities from addons there.
- Auction prices come from Auctionator or TradeSkillMaster, which need their own price data (an auction house scan).
Issues and suggestions
Found a bug or have an idea? Please report it on the issue tracker rather than in the comments, so it doesn't get lost.
A good bug report includes:
- The addon version (shown in the addon list at the character select screen)
- What you hovered over and what you expected to see
- Any error text. Turn on
/itt debugto print module errors to chat, and/console scriptErrors 1to show Lua errors. - Other tooltip addons you use, since they can change the same tooltips
