Beta 51 — Optional character-name filter

Enable Settings > Advanced > Skip fully Chinese/Korean character names. Off by default; changes save automatically.

• Skip names whose letters are entirely Han or Hangul, ignoring spaces, punctuation and realm suffixes.
• Keep accented Latin letters, mixed-script names, decorative symbols, digits and other scripts eligible. Unrecognized or malformed text is not guessed to be Han/Hangul.
• Apply before recruitment whispers and addon invitations in both methods, including existing queued interest and Invite by name.
• Keep filtered records searchable and never add or share DNC merely because a name matches. Disabling restores normal eligibility through existing history, cooldown and invitation checks.
• Suppress misleading queued-invite notices for matching names; show Skipped by name filter.
• Retain the Beta 50 gold-logo widget and Beta 49 session recovery behavior.

This detects character scripts, not nationality or spoken language. Entirely Han Japanese names can also match. The setting applies locally to this recruiter's addon. Unicode 17 data and the license notice are bundled; no network or extra runtime dependency is used.

Validation: 1,240 simulated checks passed, including 97 new name-filter checks. All 13 Lua modules compile under Lua 5.1 and Lua 5.4. ZIP integrity and TOC references pass. Advanced settings inspected in simulated previews at normal and maximum text scale. Live in-game verification is still required.
