A new version of the addon is out! New NPCs, new UI componants, new FEATURES!

⏳ Eras — The Expansion Chronicle

• Twenty years of World of Warcraft history, organized expansion by expansion.

Eras is a dedicated tab that lets you catch up on the full WoW story without leaving the game. It is built for returning players who missed an expansion, newcomers trying to make sense of the world, and lore fans who just want to read. Each expansion entry will be split across four sub-tabs:

• Overview gives you the setting, the antagonist, the central conflict, and the key cosmic stakes at a glance, laid out in a clean grid with an expansion banner header and logo.
• Story walks you through the main narrative beat by beat, one card per zone or questline. NPCs are highlighted inline and link directly to their Fates entry. Each card also has a lore notes button for supplementary content and an artwork button to pull up zone art.
• Patches covers the same ground for post-launch content updates, with patch version, zone, and full story summary per card.
• Key Characters spotlights the 5 to 7 most important NPCs of the expansion in a two-column card layout, each with an arc label, a short summary, and a direct link to their Fates entry.

Expansions are unlocked in-game when you encounter a predefined key figure from that era. They will have something to say.

New way to Unlock Lore!

Some NPCs have few or no actual character models to interact with but are still vital to our story! They aren't forgotten, but instead are unlocked through different means. After completing certain quests, you might find yourself unlocking new lore!

• Xal'atath - Lore by Cadash
• Shadra the Spider Loa - Lore by Cadash
• L'ura - New unlock method, due to limited access to their model. They can still be unlocked by just targeting them as well.

Don't worry if you've already done these quests. Upon login, you will be notified if any NPCs were unlocked due to previously completed quests!

Encounter Journal Button

Certain npcs in IMAGO are also found in Warcraft's own Encounter journal. Now there is a flow between the two of them. 

Reading up on their lore in IMAGO? Click the small icon in the top right to open up their raid encounter. 

Planning out dungeon boss fights? Click the IMAGO icon to jump straight to their lore page.

World Map Icon

A new map icon has been added to Warcraft's world map. Click on it in any zone where it appears and you'll be taken right to IMAGO's entry for it. This pairs well with IMAGO's already built in zone buttons that take you to the world map.
