HUN VoiceOver adds Hungarian, AI-generated voice-over to WoW Forever quests. When you accept, check on or turn in a quest, the NPC reads its quest text aloud in Hungarian, with a voice matching its race and gender.

Features

• 2,199 voiced quests from the starting zones up to about level 40, including the capital cities.
• Separate lines for accepting, progress and turn-in; if a different NPC takes the quest back, it speaks in its own voice.
• 20+ voice profiles by race and gender (human, orc, dwarf, night elf, undead, tauren, troll, gnome, high elf, goblin, children), with class- and race-specific wording in class and race quests.
• All voice lines have the same loudness (normalized).
• Small player window with the NPC's 3D portrait, name and the quest title.
• Queue – new lines wait their turn instead of interrupting.
• Recent conversations window – replay the last 3 lines.
• Play button in the quest tracker and the quest log.
• Minimap button.
• Key bindings – Options → Keybindings → HUN VoiceOver.
• Voice samples – listen to every voice in the settings.
• Choose which parts are read aloud (accept, progress, turn-in).
• Settings window (/hvo, the minimap button, or Options → AddOns → HUN VoiceOver), sound channel (Dialog by default).
• No internet connection during play – all lines are pre-generated OGG files.

Commands

Installation

Since version 0.5.0 the voice lines are in two separate voice packs, so updating the addon no longer means downloading all the audio again:

• HUN VoiceOver - Voice Pack (lvl 1-20)
• HUN VoiceOver - Voice Pack (lvl 20-40)

Both are required. The CurseForge app installs them automatically together with HUN VoiceOver. For manual installation, copy all three folders (HunVoiceOver, HunVoiceOver_Sounds_lvl1_-_lvl20, HunVoiceOver_Sounds_lvl20_-_lvl40) to World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns\. If a voice pack is missing, the addon tells you in the chat when you log in.

After installing or updating, restart the game completely – /reload does not load new sound files.

The voice-over works on its own. To see the quest text in Hungarian as well, install the ForeverHUN addon separately.

Source of the texts and permission

The spoken texts are based on the Hungarian translations of the ForeverHUN addon and are used with the permission of the ForeverHUN author. Thank you!

Independent project

HUN VoiceOver is a completely separate, independent project. It is not part of ForeverHUN, and neither ForeverHUN nor wowforever.hu is involved in its development or operation. Please send bug reports and requests about the voice-over to the author of this addon (Phelion), not to the ForeverHUN team.

How the voices were made

The voice lines were generated with ElevenLabs AI text-to-speech using custom-designed voices. Only in-game placeholders (e.g. class, race) and a few typos were adjusted for reading; the content of the translation was not changed.

A HUN VoiceOver magyar nyelvű, mesterséges intelligenciával készült szinkront ad a WoW Forever questjeihez. Amikor felveszel, folytatsz vagy leadsz egy questet, az NPC felolvassa a szövegét – a saját fajának és nemének megfelelő hangon.

Funkciók

• 2 199 quest szinkronja a kezdőterületektől kb. 40-es szintig, a fővárosokkal együtt.
• Külön hang a quest felvételéhez, folyamatához és leadásához; ha a leadó NPC más, az ő hangján szól.
• Fajonként és nemenként külön hangprofilok (20+ hang), a kaszt- és fajquestekben a kasztra/fajra szabott szövegekkel.
• Egységes hangerő minden felvételen.
• Kis lejátszóablak az NPC 3D-s portréjával, nevével és a quest címével.
• Felolvasási sor – az új hang kivárja a sorát, nem szakítja félbe az előzőt.
• Legutóbbi beszélgetések ablak – az utolsó 3 hang újra meghallgatható.
• Lejátszás gomb a questlistában és a questnaplóban.
• Minimap gomb.
• Gyorsbillentyűk – Beállítások → Gyorsbillentyűk → HUN VoiceOver.
• Hangminták – minden hang meghallgatható a beállításokban.
• Választható, mely részek szóljanak (felvétel, folyamatban, leadás).
• Beállítási ablak (/hvo, a minimap gomb, vagy Beállítások → AddOns → HUN VoiceOver), hangcsatorna (alapból Dialog).
• Játék közben nem használ internetet – minden hang előre elkészített OGG fájl.

Telepítés

A 0.5.0-s verzió óta a hangok két külön hangcsomagban vannak, így egy addonfrissítéshez nem kell újra letölteni a teljes hanganyagot:

• HUN VoiceOver - Voice Pack (lvl 1-20)
• HUN VoiceOver - Voice Pack (lvl 20-40)

Mindkettő kell. A CurseForge alkalmazás a HUN VoiceOver mellé magától telepíti őket. Kézi telepítésnél mindhárom mappát (HunVoiceOver, HunVoiceOver_Sounds_lvl1_-_lvl20, HunVoiceOver_Sounds_lvl20_-_lvl40) másold ide: World of Warcraft\_classic_beta_\Interface\AddOns\. Ha egy hangcsomag hiányzik, az addon belépéskor szól a chatben.

Telepítés vagy frissítés után indítsd újra teljesen a játékot (a /reload nem tölti be az új hangfájlokat).

A szinkron önállóan is működik. A magyar questszövegek megjelenítéséhez külön telepítsd a ForeverHUN addont.

A fordítások forrása és engedélye

A hangok szövege a ForeverHUN addon magyar fordításaiból származik. A fordítások felhasználása a ForeverHUN szerzőjének engedélyével történik – köszönjük!

Független projekt

A HUN VoiceOver teljesen különálló, független fejlesztés: nem része a ForeverHUN addonnak, és sem a ForeverHUN, sem a wowforever.hu nem vesz részt a fejlesztésében vagy a működtetésében. A hangokkal vagy az addonnal kapcsolatos hibákat és kéréseket a készítőnek (Phelion) küldd, ne a ForeverHUN készítőinek.

Hogyan készültek a hangok?

A hangokat az ElevenLabs mesterséges intelligenciája generálta, saját tervezésű hangprofilokkal. A felolvasáshoz csak a játékbeli helyettesítőket (pl. kaszt, faj) és néhány elírást igazítottunk; a fordítás tartalmát nem változtattuk meg.
