House Whispers 0.9.6
Continues the accepted 0.9.1-based branch with the 0.9.2–0.9.5 fixes retained.

HIGHLIGHT-TO-STYLE EDITING
- Highlight any part of a line and choose Normal, Speech, Action, Interjection, Thought, or Written Note from Text style.
- Mixed styles remain in one line. Every dropdown option uses its reader font, size and color; black-text options use a light sample background.
- Formatting characters are no longer needed. New/converted text treats punctuation literally.
- The same controls are available in Saved texts, with a new Preview button.
- Added Undo for the current draft's recent text and style edits. Save remains explicit.
- Existing marked-up text converts only in an editing draft; unsaved conversion does not rewrite the saved record. Original interjection case and nested/adjacent thoughts are retained.
- Applying a library template copies its styles independently of the source.
- Increased the editor's text allowance to the existing 4000-byte sharing limit.

WRITTEN NOTES
- Written Note text appears in solid black on the owner's supplied parchment artwork, centered on screen.
- Compact height for up to 160 visible note characters when the lines fit; longer notes grow vertically to the screen/700-unit limit.
- Rolled caps retain their shape while the paper stretches.
- Longer text uses manual previous/next side arrows and a page counter. Pages break between complete lines.
- Note-only lines do not open empty dialogue/thought panels. Mixed lines keep their source reveal order.
- Note previews remain open for reading and page turns. X, save, reset, house transitions and live range exits close them with the other displays.

SHARING AND DATA
- Added validated structured style segments beside literal text.
- Sharing protocol/cache schema is now 8. Host and visitors must use 0.9.6; older caches refresh from an updated host.
- Existing authored lines, stable house identities, recovery ledgers and room labels are retained. No new recovery step is required from 0.9.2–0.9.5.
- Style-only changes refresh playback and invalidate outgoing snapshots.
- No changes to the horizontal proximity model, Chamberlain integration, or thought-cloud appearance.

VALIDATION
- Lua 5.1 syntax checks and automated behavior tests, including a mocked WoW UI, passed.
- Parchment slice geometry was inspected in a local rendering.
- Not verified in-game or with two players. See DEBUG_NOTES for the targeted checks.
- Live addon files and SavedVariables were not modified while preparing this ZIP.
