Filters

• Settings has a Filters section. A filter hides the messages it matches from the window, search, pop-outs, forwarding, the away list and the messages restored after a reload.
• Hidden messages stay stored: turning a filter off or deleting it shows them again.
• Three types: Repeated messages (same sender and text within 1, 5, 15 or 60 minutes), Words (comma separated, whole words or phrases, any case) and Regular expression (with Match case).
• Each filter has its own channels, and Also hide in the chat frame hides its messages from the game's chat frame too.
• Add a preset adds a filter for repeated messages, group-finding posts (LFG, LFM), trade adverts (WTS, WTB, boosts), web addresses or messages in capitals.
• Beside the filter editor, Recent messages lists the last 300 received messages in the filter's channels and marks the ones the filter hides as you edit it. Only matches lists only those.
• Your character's own messages are never hidden.

Unread marks

• A gold square marks a whisper conversation with a whisper not yet opened or answered, and a channel with a mention not yet opened, in the window's list.
• The minimap button shows the mark while a whisper is unread.
• Opening the conversation or channel in the window or a pop-out marks it read.
• Settings > Chat has Mark unread whispers and mentions.

Search

• Search takes from:name, in:channel (in:whispers) and days:N among its words, in English or the client's language.

Watched words

• Settings > Chat has Words to watch for in public channels. A message in a public channel (Trade, LookingForGroup, General and others) that holds one of the words is stored under Watched words, plays the mention sound and is sent to your other characters as an alert.
• No other messages from public channels are stored.

• The window, settings and the away list say "messages" instead of "lines" and "other characters" instead of "alts". The reload setting shows how many messages it restores (20).
• The character settings and the AltLink panel say that linked characters are on different accounts on the same realm, and that addons using AltLink share the code.
• The alert forwarding option reads "Invites, summons, trades and other alerts".

• Names in the window, pop-outs, forwarded chat and the lines back after a reload show in their class's colour, older lines included once that player has spoken again. Characters on other accounts get the colours with the chat they're sent.

• Every character's guild, officer, party, raid, instance and say chat and every whisper conversation, kept and listed in one window (/he), with one whisper inbox for all characters and a search over everything.
• Characters with the same code (AltLink, shared with other addons that use it) send each other the chat you tick, new mail and alerts (invites, summons, trades, duels, ready checks, resurrections, battleground queues, entering combat), encrypted, on any account on the same realm.
• Answer a whisper or write in the character's own channels from a box under the lines; pop a conversation out into a window of its own.
• Web addresses become links to copy, alongside other addons that do the same; mentions play a sound and are marked; a list of what came in while away; the last lines back after a reload.
• Settings for what each character sends and how many lines are kept, per channel and in all.
• History syncs between accounts: when characters on two accounts meet online, each fills in the chat the other missed, every line once.
• English and German.
