The author of ClassicHealPrediction has not been active for sometime now. People, including myself, use this addon and unfortunately it completely broke from a October 21 2025 patch (1.15.8) from blizzard.
I am posting this as an immediate update for people who use this addon. Until I hear back from the original author to see if they will continue updates, I intend to keep this up for others until the original author tells me to take down. I have not done extensive testing. I personally use the default settings, and have not tested if anything else was broken when it came to customizations.
My updates to the code to be 1.15.8 compatible is rewriting the getChild local function completely as that was the culprit throwing lua errors and bricking the addon. I made minor changes to local functions the author opens up as globals anyways. just dropped the local and made all functions intended to be globals just globals right out of the gate. Otherwise all other code is left alone intended as working.
