Hated UI
A flat, blocky, class-colored redesign of Blizzard's default UI for World of Warcraft Retail.
What it does
Fully redesigned unit frames (not a recolor, genuinely rebuilt):
- Player, Target, Focus, Target-of-Target/Focus-Target
- Player/Target/Focus cast bars
- Combo point display
Flat, dark reskin of Blizzard's own windows (all original functionality untouched, this only changes how they look):
- Action bars, stance bar, pet bar, Extra Action Button
- Micro menu and bag bar
- Minimap buttons
- Party/raid frames
- Blizzard's built-in Damage Meter
- PvP & Dungeon Finder, World Map, Guild, Achievements, Collections, Mail, Merchant, NPC dialogue, Macros, Encounter Journal, Character, Spellbook & Talents, Professions, Housing, Settings, Auction House
Options
Type /hatedui (or /hui) to open the options panel. Every module has
its own scale/size, opacity, color, border style, background color, font,
and text visibility settings.
Color Themes :: one click recolors everything at once to a matching palette (several presets included, or fully custom colors per module). Pick exactly which modules a theme should touch.
Test Mode :: forces every HatedUI frame visible with placeholder content so you can freely resize, reposition, and preview color changes without needing a live target, focus, or active cast.
Notes
- Fully AceDB profile-based :: per-character or shared profiles both work.
- No known conflicts with class resource addons, action bar addons, or unit frame addons that don't also touch the same frames.
