By logging server IDs, drop timers, and location data, Hated Crate Tracker removes the guesswork from crate hunting. While highly effective for solo farmers, it is optimized for Raid environments to ensure maximum zone control.

📊 Pro-Tips & Advanced HGLog Usage

Maximize your open-world control by mastering the power of the HGLog system:

• ➕ Manual Timer Sync: Notice a + sign next to the timers in the log? If you are solo or the Raid Leader, clicking this manually imports those timers straight to your Hated Crate Tracker window. (Note: If a timer exceeds your "missed crate" setting threshold, it won't display. A setting to allow larger missed limits is coming soon!)

• 🔄 Zero-Effort Auto-Sharing:

  • When players join your raid, they instantly and automatically share their timers with everyone in the group.

  • When you leave a raid, the addon automatically shares your collected timers with your Guild.

• 🗺️ The "Spread & Map" Strategy: At the start of a session, spread your raid members across different zones. Check the log to instantly see which shard each zone is on, then immediately manually add the correct timer to your tracking window.

• ⏱️ Timer Types Explained:

  • RCT: Calculated using the standard, highly optimized Hated drop timer interval.

  • OBS-HIST (Observed History): Generated dynamically based on multiple historical drops recorded by real users.

• 🧠 Shard Divergence & Accuracy: Data proves that drop timers can vary across different shards and zones. While the average drop interval is 18 minutes and 20 seconds, some shards may drift. If a timer has missed multiple times, it may be offset by 100–200 seconds. However, if a heavily missed timer shows OBS-HIST, you can trust it to be incredibly precise.
