1.1.1
What's new
Changelog
1.1.1
- Shows under Hated Gaming in the AddOns list.
1.1.0
Every expansion now has the same depth as Classic.
- Zone books for every leveling zone from The Burning Crusade through Midnight: its places, its people, every storyline on both sides, its dungeons and raids, its older history and what changed after.
- A new Stories shelf with the novels, short stories, comics and cinematics from the War of the Ancients to Midnight, told in order. Classic's covers the War of the Ancients trilogy, The Last Guardian, Tides of Darkness, Day of the Dragon, Lord of the Clans, Of Blood and Honor, Cycle of Hatred, the World of Warcraft comic and the Warcraft cinematics.
- Close to five thousand people, most with their 3D model.
- Each expansion's books are their own small add-on that loads only when you open one, so the library stays light. Keep them all enabled in your AddOns list.
- Zones that share a name, like Nagrand in Outland and on Draenor, now open the right book and map.
- The library window is smaller and its title sits lower on the frame. Window scale in Options still sizes it up.
- The search box has an X to clear it.
- Fixed people showing someone else's 3D model. Models remembered by 1.0.0 are cleared once and learned again.
1.0.0
First release of Hated Lore, a lore explorer for Azeroth.
- The library: 22 Classic zones, 26 battle sites from The Burning Crusade through Midnight, the old wars, every expansion's war, and the factions and powers of Azeroth, written as readable chapters.
- People: more than two thousand characters from the lore, each with their race, class, allegiance and status, where they appear, and the chapters that mention them. Most show their 3D model, which you can turn and zoom.
- Names in the text are links. Click one to open that person's page, and Show on map marks where they stand.
- Nearby: target a character the library knows and a small card offers their lore, and their tooltip gets a lore line. Mouseover and nameplates can be turned on in options.
- The zone's map art or the expansion's art heads each book.
- Search across every chapter and person, from the window or with
/lore <text>. - A start page, Home and Back, options, a step by step how-to, and a minimap button.
- Works on WoW Forever and retail.
