📖 About the Addon
World of Warcraft never had a one stop shop for its own story. Hated Lore is that: one window with the history of the contested zones as they stood in Classic, every place the Alliance and the Horde fought from The Burning Crusade to Midnight, the old wars, each expansion's campaign in order, the factions and powers of Azeroth, and the people in all of it, with their 3D models.
It reads like a book, chapter by chapter, and it comes to you. Target a character the library knows and a small card offers their lore, their tooltip gets a line, and a note greets you when you enter a zone that has a book.
Works on WoW Forever and retail.

📊 Pro-Tips
🧭 Start where you stand
Right-click the minimap button, or press Where I stand in the window, and the book for your zone opens. The first chapter is the zone at a glance, and the places around you are the chapters after it.
🔗 Follow the names
Every gold name in a chapter is a link. Hover for a line about them, click for their page, turn their model, then follow the links back into the chapters that mention them.
🎯 Who is that?
Target any named character and type
/lore target. If the library knows them, their page opens with their model. The card only follows your target by default and goes quiet in combat, so it stays out of your way.
🕰️ Classic only, if you want it
Options can leave out everything from after Classic: the expansions, the battle sites, and the "On retail" chapters of each zone. Grey sentences come from the wiki with no source given. Show them plain or keep them dimmed.
