What's new

Changelog

v1.0.0-beta.2

Vendoring operations

  • A Vendoring tab in the group editor: Restock to buys an item from merchants until this character has that many (bags, or bags and bank); Sell sells what's over Keep, always or only when a merchant pays more than the auction house would after its cut. Subgroups can change single fields, and items can have their own Restock to and Keep.
  • At a merchant, a card beside its window lists what it would buy (Restock and the crafting queue) and sell, with one press to buy and one to sell. Click a line to leave it out. Buying asks first at or over the Buying setting.
  • Selling skips gear in an equipment set, items still refundable and anything a merchant won't buy, and never goes below Restock to or what the crafting queue uses. It asks first when the auction house would pay more, when an item is uncommon or better, or past what the buyback keeps.
  • Selling can be stopped from its button, names any stack the merchant didn't take, and says what it sold.
  • Restock to counts the crafting queue's materials on top, so what's bought for both is never sold back. When a merchant pays more also sells grey junk. The card says what a Buy bought, won't buy what the bags can't hold, and shows every row of a long list on a click.
  • The merchant card's For menu narrows it to one group (with its subgroups), Ungrouped items or the crafting queue.

Used by

  • Any operation (Auctioning, Mail, Crafting, Vendoring) can be limited to some characters: only or not these characters, classes, professions or realms, one faction, and a level range. Set under Used by at the top of the operation.
  • Where an operation is off, it counts as None: nothing is posted, mailed, queued, bought or sold by it, its rows say Off here, and the header says why ("Hammer is level 42; it starts at level 50.").

Fixes

  • The Ledger records auction house purchases and cancelled auctions, from the mail they come back in, however they were bought or cancelled (the Buy tab, Blizzard's auction house or another addon). Before, neither was recorded.
  • Several identical auction house mails (stacks expiring together, or one item bought from several sellers at one price) each get their own Ledger entry; only the first was recorded.
  • A mail take is recorded when the server answers it: one refused (bags full) isn't recorded, and one asked for twice (Open All retrying a slow answer) is recorded once. A player's mail with an auction house subject isn't recorded.
  • Selling to a merchant by dragging an item onto its window, or part of a stack split off, is recorded. When the merchant refuses one sale and pays the next, the paid one is recorded.
  • The Ledger's gold chart and periods count the player's own days, not UTC ones, and Change includes the first day of the period. All time is no longer the last year.
  • By item keeps an item's sales, cancels and expiries on one row (random-suffix gear and items the client hadn't cached split them), its Average leaves buybacks out, and clicking a row shows only that item.
  • The Ledger panel stays quick with a long history: search filters just the table.
  • Merging saved data keeps every entry of a character played from both copies.
  • At the bank, the crafting card sits right of Forever's bank page tabs instead of over them.

v1.0.0-beta.1

New: Hammerprice Mail

A separate addon, so it can be switched off on its own. It opens the Hammerprice window at the mailbox.

  • Inbox: every mail as one row, with search, Sold, Expired, Won and Letters filters with counts, and a reader for one mail. Long letters scroll.
  • Open all opens whatever the list shows. It stops when your bags are full and reloads the inbox when the server holds more than 50 mails. Shift-click a mail to take everything in it.
  • Send: to your characters or recent names, twelve attachment slots, gold or COD.
  • Groups: mail operations that send a group's items to one of your characters, keeping a number back or restocking them to a count. Their bags, bank, mailbox and mail on its way all count. Per-item overrides.
  • Send all mails every group's items, and spare gold if set in Settings.

New: Hammerprice Crafting

A separate addon with a crafting queue.

  • Queue crafts by hand, or with Restock, which fills each group's crafting operation (restock to a count, skip crafts under a minimum profit) from what your characters own, auctions included.
  • The queue shows profit per craft, who can craft it, and a shopping list of materials: what your bags, bank, mailbox and other characters hold, what one of your characters can craft first, and the rest from a vendor or the auction house, whichever is cheaper.
  • Replaces the profession window, with a Craft button that makes the next ready craft (/click HammerpriceCraftButton in a macro). Default UI switches back to Blizzard's window.
  • Recipes: every recipe's cost, sale price and profit, who knows it and skill-up colours, with a recipe card and a column picker.
  • The Buy tab has the queue's missing materials as a source. Merchants that sell one show a card to buy it.
  • Gathering: each recipe goes to the character with the most skill in it, or the one picked in Settings. The mailbox's Groups list has a Crafting queue row that sends the crafter the materials your other characters hold. Only the shortfall is sent, and mail on its way counts. At the bank, a card takes queued materials out into your bags; in the Inbox, Take for crafting collects just those mails.

Auction house window

  • Tabs are Buy, Sell and Auctions, in the client's order.
  • Scanning is a button in the window's header that shows the scan's progress and the server's cooldown. The Scan tab is gone.
  • The Look up an item box and the market label are gone from window headers. Item cards open from an item's name, a ledger sale or /hp price.

Buy

  • One Buy tab replaces Search and Shopping. Pick a search, a shopping group or Deals from one menu.
  • A group lists each item's need (its quantity less what your characters own and what you've bought), what's listed under its max price, and how the lowest compares with market value. Items that need none sit under a Stocked heading.
  • An item panel shows the order book.
  • One Buy next button, which can be bound to a key, says what its next press buys and moves on to the next item after each purchase. Quantity starts at 1 unless the group sets one.
  • Search filters are in a popover. Picking a group searches it.
  • Random-suffix gear ("of the Eagle") is grouped under its item, and each suffix can be picked on its own with its own market value.
  • Shift-clicking an item searches for exactly it.
  • Deals: listings from the last full scan under a share of market value (50 to 90%) for items that sell, with filters for sale rate and resale profit, right-click to ignore, and Recheck.
  • Buying asks first in a dialog for a purchase at or over a share of your gold (10% by default; an amount, or always, under Settings, Buying). This covers every purchase, crafting materials included.

Auctioning operations

  • TSM-style auctioning operations, set in the /hp group editor's Auctioning tab: Min, Normal and Max as a percentage of market value or a fixed price, undercut, how many to keep and to have up at once, and duration.
  • Sell can show one group's bags with what its operation would post. Search group, then Post next posts them one press at a time. Picking an item prices it by its operation.
  • Auctions cancels an item with an operation only when the operation would post lower. An auction undercut below Min stays up.
  • When an item is in several groups, the more specific group's operation wins, then the higher Priority. A tie does nothing until a Priority settles it, and the item's row says Tied.
  • A subgroup can change single fields of the operation it inherits, shown with gold labels.
  • Ungrouped items takes an operation for everything in your bags that's in no group.

Groups

  • An item is in at most one group per top-level group. Adding it to another group in the same tree moves it; unrelated trees can still share it. Existing duplicates are cleaned up on load.
  • The item card shows the item's groups as chips (click to open the group, cross to remove) and a + Group menu.
  • No default Shopping group. An empty state offers to make the first group.
  • Operation tables list every item in the group, with an add box, drop to add, and a cross to remove.
  • Built-in entries (Search, Deals, Crafting queue, Ungrouped items) have game icons and sit above a Groups divider.

Tooltips

  • Inventory line: how many each of your characters owns, with bank, mail and auctions, characters on other realms, snapshot ages and class colours. Per-character settings.

Ledger

  • Records auction house purchases, cancelled auctions and expired ones (when the item is taken from the mail), and shows each item's sell rate.

Fixes

  • Full scans spread their work over frames so the game doesn't stutter.
  • Operation fields save only what was typed, to the operation it was typed for.
  • A new operation reuses an untouched draft instead of piling up copies.
  • Dialogs sit above their dimmed background.
