HALite

HouseAuras’ little brother.

HALite is a lightweight housing addon for World of Warcraft built for players who want a simple taste of what HouseAuras can do without jumping into the full scene-engine experience.

HALite keeps things intentionally simple: walk into a room, adjust the lighting, add an optional note, and click Apply to Room.

That’s it.

Under the hood, though, HALite speaks the same room-scene language as HouseAuras. It uses the same compatible manifest structure, which means the two addons can coexist in the same housing ecosystem without stepping on each other.

A HALite user visiting a full HouseAuras home can still experience the parts HALite understands, such as:

• Room lighting
• Scene notes

Unsupported HouseAuras features such as FX, Parallax, audio, Guest Interactions, and advanced scene behavior are simply ignored safely.

Likewise, a room created with HALite can be understood by the full HouseAuras addon.

What HALite Includes

HALite is built around one compact window containing:

• Light Switch controls
• Room Notes
• Apply to Room
• simple Clear and Pause controls

No giant toolset. No advanced editor maze. No need to learn a scene engine.

Just set the mood and apply it.

HALite and HouseAuras

Think of them as two members of the same family:

HALite gives you a taste.

HouseAuras lets you get fully immersed.

HALite focuses on simple room atmosphere, while HouseAuras expands the same ecosystem into things like animated FX, Parallax environments, audio, interactive scenes, custom assets, advanced room behavior, gifting, and much more.

If both addons are installed, HALite automatically steps aside and allows the full HouseAuras runtime to take control, preventing duplicate rendering or conflicting systems.

Designed to Be Lightweight

HALite is intentionally tiny and focused. It does not include the large visual libraries or advanced authoring systems found in HouseAuras.

It is meant for players who want:

“Make this room feel different.”

without needing:

“Build an entire interactive experience.”
