v2.3.1-bcc
What's new
# Changelog
## v2.3.1
- **Update reminder** — ignore a CurseForge nag whose advertised version is the same as yours or older. A 2.2.29 co-leader can still whisper, but 2.3.1+ will not print “download 2.2.29” when you are already on a newer build.
## v2.3.0
- **Phase 2 workshops** — TBC Phase 2 can be created for Jewelcrafting (TK / SSC BiS still used in Phase 3). Tailoring, Leatherworking, and Blacksmithing stay greyed out on Phase 2.
- **Phase 2 Place Order** — PVE lists socketed SSC / TK drops, profession crafts, and T5 pieces that still appear on AtlasLoot Phase 3 BiS lists (e.g. Belt of Blasting under Tailoring; Cowl of Tirisfal under Tier gear). Type has no PVP option (Season 2 is not catalogued). Hyjal / BT / T6 and Season 3 PVP stay on Phase 3 shops.
- **Workshop picker** — open shops are grouped by phase (TBC Phase 2, TBC Phase 3, …) with a header between groups.
- **Workshop settings** — leaders and co-leaders use a cog above the tabs (right side) for **Require order approval**. The old header button is gone so long shop names are not covered.
- **Sync chat** — “Got workshop copies from …” prints once after login. Opening the Workshop tab, the late roster pull, or a co-leader answering again no longer repeats it. `/gc sync Name` still confirms when that player’s copies arrive.
## v2.2.29
- **Order search** — Orders and Done have a search box (between **Order Queue** and **Place Order**, and on the right of **Completed Orders**). Type a player name, role (Tank / Healer / DPS), or gear name to show only matching cards. Escape clears the search. This is local display only — login dumps still send the full queue the elected player has.
- **Update reminder** — the shop leader (or one co-leader fallback) still reminds older 2.2.27+ clients, but at most **once per player per calendar day** (saved; `/reload` does not send it again). Pre-2.2.27 clients ignore the whisper.
## v2.2.28
- **Stock Refresh at the guild bank** — opening tabs and clicking Refresh no longer bursts addon messages (the WoW “number of messages… please wait” spam). Guild-bank stock is pumped, only sent when counts change, and only for professions that have an open shop.
- **Personal bank snapshot** — leaving the bank and clicking Refresh keeps the last bank scan and adds whatever is in your bags. A closed bank is no longer treated as empty just because the slot count is still non-zero.
- **Window title** — the addon version is shown next to **Guildie Crafts** at the top of the window.
## v2.2.27
- **Recipe search** — typing in the Jewelcrafting (or other profession) search box no longer replaces your known cuts with only the visible rows. Pick order keeps using the full list you already shared. A filtered window does not broadcast a short list to the guild.
- **Demote crafter** — a login ROOM dump from someone who still has the old jewelcrafter list can no longer put a demoted crafter back. Only the leader’s ROOM with a real name list replaces crafters; live Demote still sends `MSG_COLLAB` remove.
- **Approval required** — an order that arrived as Ready to craft with no **Approved by** (owner client never got the gate) is treated as Needs approval. Leftover **Pending** cards on a gated shop move there on load.
- **Cancel / owner checks** — cancelling your own order (and owner-only buttons/notifies) use the same name match as `/gc sync Name`, so a realm-style name difference does not block you.
- **Pick tooltip** — a grey Pick button keeps one hover frame instead of stacking a new one every time the list redraws.
- **Personal bank stock** — gems in the main bank panel (not only purchased bank bags) are counted when the bank is open. Empty personal stock says whether bags and the last bank snapshot are empty.
- **Approved by** — live order cards keep it on the status band only. The Done tab still shows who crafted in the band and who approved in the footer.
- **Recipes help** — the list is the workshop; Pick uses the cuts you last shared.
- **Demote** — confirm before removing jewelcrafter or co-leader status.
- **Update reminder** — the workshop leader (or one co-leader if the leader is on an old addon) may send a targeted addon reminder once per login, staggered. It is not a `/w` and does not dump the guild. Clients on 2.2.27+ print it; older addons ignore the unknown type.
- **`/gc sync`** — chat confirms when live copies start arriving from the player you asked (or the elected dumper).
- **Login catch-up** — everyone in the shop pulls first for about 12 seconds (crafters included, not only the leader). One elected person who is already on dumps the live queue plus recent Done. Leftover Ready/In progress cards on this client may move to Done/cancelled. The named leader yields that dump and sends `-` for crafters/co-leaders so last session’s roster cannot snap back. After the window this client is normal again. A login wave does not repeat the fat dump (8s cooldown). Rank still only moves forward.
- **Status time** — approve, pick, unpick, complete, and cancel stamp `GetServerTime()` (PC clock if the client has no realm time). That time is on the dump line and on the Done tab. Higher status still wins; time is a tie-break.
- **Unpick catch-up** — a dump may move In progress → Ready only if it is marked Unpick **and** its status time is newer than this client’s pick. A new Pick clears the mark. Plain Ready with no mark still cannot un-pick.
## v2.2.26
- **Stale login dumps** — this client keeps the orders it already has. A leftover Done/cancelled/Needs-approval copy from an older addon cannot delete or rewrite them. Login no longer re-applies the approval gate when the setting did not change (that was resetting every Ready to craft card, then “approving” them again in a loop).
- **Approve notifies** — the same “approved / you can pick up” line is not fired again for an order that is already Ready to craft. Unpick still keeps who approved it; that is not a new approve.
- **Weapon oils** — using an oil or similar item (then clicking the weapon) no longer dies on the workshop window. While a targeting cursor is up, leftover menus close and the window drops under the character and bags so the click reaches the weapon. Picking up an item in bags does not close order dropdowns or move the window.
## v2.2.25
- **Pick order** — pickup uses the same recipe records as the Recipes tab (name aliases, older JC copies). If Jewelcrafting (or the shop profession) is already open, Pick reads that window instead of waiting for Refresh. An empty or partial scan no longer wipes a good local list. The Recipes tab lighting up a cut still means *someone* in the shop has it, not necessarily you.
## v2.2.24
- **Unpick** — promoted crafters can release a picked-up order back to Ready to craft (for example if they do not have the recipe). The assignee is cleared; who approved it stays. Login dumps still cannot undo an approve or a pick. Clients on 2.2.23 ignore Unpick (they treat it as rolling status back); they need 2.2.24+.
- **`/gc sync` and `/gc sync Name`** — the elected dumper (and a named target) now send the live copies they have even if their client does not already list you as a member (JOIN can miss). Names are case-insensitive, so `/gc sync nobunda` reaches Nobunda. Other members still only resend orders they placed, not a full-guild replica flood.
- **Done tab** — completed cards show when they were finished in the bottom right, and the list is newest at the top.
- **Pick order** — a crafter can only pick up an order if they have already shared that recipe on the Recipes tab. If nobody in the workshop has it, the button stays disabled.
## v2.2.23
- **Approval rollback** — a stale “Needs approval” copy can no longer undo an approve. Login, `/gc sync`, and `/gc sync Name` used to replay whoever was catching up, so a co-leader who was offline (or an order owner who missed the approve) could put Ready to craft cards back in the queue. Status only moves forward now; an older replica is ignored.
- **Actions menu** — Approve / Decline opens under the Actions button (not Blizzard’s shared dropdown, which spilled off the window). The menu uses a solid dark fill; tooltip parchment stays white on TBC Anniversary.
## v2.2.22
- **Combat UI** — the minimap button (and `/gc`) can open the window in combat again. Recipe Refresh was a secure button on the main frame, so WoW blocked Show/Hide while you were in a fight. Refresh in combat updates the list only; it cannot open the profession window until you leave combat.
- **PVP necks** — Season 3 Vindicator pendants have a yellow socket. All six (Triumph, Dominance, Conquest, Salvation, Subjugation, Reprieve) are in the PVP gear list for every class.
## v2.2.21
- **Approval catch-up** — if a leader or co-leader approved orders while you were offline, login sync now applies that status. Cards move to Ready to craft with **Approved by**, and crafters get the same pick-up notify as a live approve. Sync prefers a leader or co-leader to dump the queue, and those managers also resend approved rows when they are not elected. Bare `pending` dumps from pre-2.2.17 clients still cannot auto-approve a gated queue.
- **`/gc sync Name`** — ask one online member for the live copies they have (orders they see, including approvals). They must be on 2.2.21+. `/gc sync` without a name is unchanged.
- **PVP cloth bracers** — Mage, Priest, and Warlock can now pick all three Vindicator cuffs (Silk, Dreadweave, Mooncloth), matching the in-game class restriction. Each class used to see only “its” pair.
- **PVP Vindicator bracers** — added missing Chain (Hunter/Shaman) and Plate (Warrior/Paladin). Mail cuffs now show for Hunter and Shaman, not Hunter only.
## v2.2.20
- **Sync load** — v2.2.19 had every online member resend the whole live queue on login and `/gc sync`, and rebuilt the window on every incoming order. That froze clients. Only the elected member dumps the live queue; everyone else resends orders they placed. The UI waits to redraw and does not rebuild while the window is closed.
## v2.2.19
- **Order replicas** — there is no guild cloud for addon data. An order exists only on clients that have seen it. Anyone online in the shop when it is placed gets a copy. Login and `/gc sync` push the live orders you already have, and every online member who has a copy shares it (not only the elected client). If he placed it while alone, then logged out before you logged in, you will not see it until he (or someone who already has that copy) is online again. Existing orders are not deleted.
## v2.2.18
- **Approved by** — when a workshop requires approval, the queue shows who approved: a green **Approved by** band on Ready to craft, and the same line in the card footer after pickup or completion. The name is stored separately so Pick does not overwrite it. Hidden when the gate is off.
- **Workshop members** — large shops were dropping the member list from room sync (255-byte cap), so a joiner could place an order and never appear for Make JC. Members now sync in chunks, order owners with a live order are treated as members, and clients re-announce their own join on sync so a missed join still shows up.
## v2.2.17
- **Order approval** — leaders and co-leaders can require approval on a workshop (any profession). New orders sit in Needs approval until someone approves; crafters cannot Pick until then. Decline cancels the order. After approve, the owner is told a crafter will pick it up, and promoted crafters (including the approver, if they craft) get the pick-up notify. Toggle the setting off and on again to send unpicked Ready to craft rows back to Needs approval. Clients still on 2.2.16 cannot enforce the gate; 2.2.17 ignores their pending dumps so a login sync cannot auto-approve a gated queue.
## v2.2.16
- **JC PVE gear menu** — Place Order no longer dumps every Hyjal/BT item in one list. Pick Mount Hyjal, Black Temple, or Tier gear, then (for tier) class and spec. Tier entries are the Tydormu set pieces (head, shoulders, chest, hands, legs) for every class — not the Forgotten tokens. Druid feral is one set for cat and bear. Sunwell belt/bracer/boots stay out (Phase 4). Tailoring/LW/BS craft orders and guild sync are unchanged.
## v2.2.15
- **Login order catch-up** — orders placed while you were offline now sync when you log in. The elected responder is chosen among other online members, so the workshop leader (or fallback) no longer answers their own request and misses the dump. Crafters get a catch-up notify for those orders. A second sync a few seconds later covers a late guild roster.
## v2.2.14
- **Gem tooltips** — Crimson Spinel cuts used the wrong item IDs, so hover on Delicate/Runed/Bright/Teardrop showed a different gem. IDs now match Wowhead TBC.
- **Leftover old workshops** — 2.2.13+ no longer learns or rebroadcasts pre-2.2.13 shops, so a fresh install cannot pick up the Jewelcrafting-flipped copies. Those leftovers stay visible only to the leader and co-leaders (tagged *old addon — close this*).
- **Co-leaders can close** — Close workshop sits next to Change workshop; a close is sent on both sync channels. `/gc close` closes the selected shop; `/gc closelegacy` closes and forgets leftover pre-2.2.13 shops this character can manage.
- **Missing new workshops** — if the leader lost their local copy, other 2.2.13 clients reshare the listing. `/gc rooms` lists shops on this character; `/gc sync` asks the guild; `/gc share` broadcasts listings you still have. Live Guildie Crafts and GuildieCraftsTest still do not share shops.
## v2.2.13
- **Join gate** — workshops stay visible in the picker, but you must confirm Join before becoming a member. Logging in no longer auto-enrolls you in every shop.
- **Isolate new workshops** — shops created on 2.2.13+ sync on a new channel. Players still on 2.2.12 cannot see, join, or overwrite them. Close leftover pre-2.2.13 shops, then create new ones after updating.
- **Fix profession overwrite** — missing or truncated room sync no longer turns leatherworking/tailoring/blacksmithing shops into Jewelcrafting. Closed shops stay closed. `/gc profession <id>` repairs a flipped shop (leader only).
- **Sync storm** — only the workshop leader (or the first online member if the leader is offline) answers guild sync. Opening Orders/Done/Recipes no longer dumps the whole guild.
- **Orders** — packets over 255 bytes are rejected instead of silently vanishing; order IDs include a counter; completed orders leave the queue; stale pending sync cannot overwrite completed.
- **Stock and recipes** — reports are stored per profession; the workshop leader can share stock without clicking Make JC first.
## v2.2.12
- **Fix co-leader wipe on join** — incoming room snapshots from other members no longer replace the co-leader list. Only the workshop leader's snapshot is authoritative; everyone else is merged so a stale login or new alt cannot strip promotions.
## v2.2.11
- **Stock — Guild Bank** — tracked workshop materials in the guild bank appear in the Stock tab (above Workshop Total) and count toward the total. One guild bank visit scans all enabled professions and syncs to the guild.
- **Auto-join workshops** — installing the addon and logging in adds you as a member of every open guild workshop automatically (no need to select from the dropdown first).
- **Member list class colors** — workshop members show correct class colors; class is synced on login and from the guild roster.
- **UI** — selecting or deselecting a workshop no longer spams chat (order notifications unchanged).
## v2.2.10
- **HoD craft order dropdowns** — Tailoring, Leatherworking, and Blacksmithing order modals now show recipe-known indicators (green check / red X) like Jewelcrafting gem picks.
- **Docs** — CurseForge publishing is GitHub Actions only; GitHub webhook must stay disabled (duplicate/incomplete uploads).
## v2.2.9
- **Fix CurseForge packaging** — use `.pkgmeta` `move-folders` for nested `GuildieCrafts/` layout; remove broken CI flatten step that uploaded an empty zip (only stray PNGs). Remove obsolete `assets/art-source/` from repo.
## v2.2.8
- Fix GitHub Actions release: flatten `GuildieCrafts/` for BigWigs packager before upload.
## v2.2.7
- Fix GitHub Actions: run packager with `-t GuildieCrafts` so nested addon layout packages correctly.
## v2.2.6
- Fix GitHub Actions packager: `move-folders` so TOC is found in `GuildieCrafts/` subfolder.
## v2.2.5
- Publish via GitHub Actions now that CurseForge `CF_API_KEY` is configured.
## v2.2.4
- **CurseForge packaging** — fix `.pkgmeta` (remove BOM, doc-style `manual-changelog`), add `## X-Curse-Project-ID`, exclude debug code from packages, GitHub Actions release workflow.
## v2.2.3
- Republish — same addon content as v2.2.2; triggers CurseForge automatic packaging.
## v2.2.2
- **Icon color fix** — corrected red/blue channel swap in PNG→TGA export; minimap and UI portrait now show the warm forge colors.
- **Portrait crop** — circular mask and inset tex coords for the workshop UI portrait slot.
## v2.2.1
- **New addon icon** — guild knights around a blacksmith at the forge (minimap + workshop UI).
- **CurseForge packaging** — `.pkgmeta` manual changelog wired to `CHANGELOG.md`.
## v2.2.0
- **Crafter notifications** — promoted crafters get a chat alert, sound, and pulsing minimap icon when a new order arrives (all workshop types).
- **Order owner notifications** — notified when your order is picked up, completed, or cancelled; catch-up alerts on login if you were offline.
- **Minimap tooltip** — hover the icon to read unread notifications before opening the UI.
- **Order status bands** — **New**, **Pending**, **In progress**, and **Completed** slips on order rows.
- **Blacksmithing fix** — Dawnsteel bracers/shoulders moved to the Healer category.
- **UI polish** — recipe tooltip hitboxes, gem-row layout on wrapped orders, and craft category health-check script for releases.
## v2.1.0
- Leatherworking and Blacksmithing HoD workshops (orders, stock, recipes).
- Workshop picker UI polish, profession portraits, and Phase 4 (soon) in the picker.
## v2.0.0
- Rebrand to Guildie Crafts; multi-workshop support with expansion/phase selection.
