GuildBankChars

Track your own bank alts locally and optionally share selected characters with your guild.

GuildBankChars is a lightweight WoW Classic addon that stores your character inventory and bank contents account-wide and displays them in a simple, searchable GUI.

Unlike full alt-management suites, GuildBankChars focuses on one thing: quick access to your bank characters and optional guild sharing.

Features

Account-wide character storage

• Stores bags and bank contents of your own characters

Per-character Guild Sync

Each of your own characters has a Guild Sync checkbox.

• Enabled → character data can be shared with guild members
• Disabled → character remains completely private and local

This allows you to choose exactly which alts are visible to your guild.

Guild Addon Sync

• Share selected characters with guild members using the addon communication channel
• Only players with the addon installed can receive and view shared data
• Sync supports larger inventories using chunked transmission

Privacy First

GuildBankChars does not scan or access other players’ banks.

A character must:

1. Log in
2. Open the bank or perform a scan
3. Save its own data

Only then can information be stored or shared.

Commands

/gbc
Open or close the GUI

/gbc scan
Scan and save current character

/gbc sync
Send all Guild Sync enabled characters to guild

/gbc mine
List your own saved characters

/gbc find <item>
Search for an item

/gbc debug
Display storage and sync debug information

How to Use

Own Bank Characters

1. Log into your bank alt
2. Open the bank or use /gbc scan
3. Logout or /reload
4. Log onto your main
5. Open /gbc

Your stored bank alt will now be visible locally.

Guild Sharing

1. Enable Guild Sync checkbox for desired characters
2. Use /gbc sync
3. Guild members with GuildBankChars installed can view shared data

Lightweight by Design

GuildBankChars is intentionally simple:

• No auction house integration
• No economy tracking
• No mailbox database
• No heavy alt-management systems

Just your bank alts, searchable and easy to access.
