⚠️ NOVA WORLD BUFFS IS REQUIRED ⚠️
GuildLayerHelper requires Nova World Buffs to automatically detect your current layer.
You MUST have Nova World Buffs installed and enabled for automatic layer detection to work correctly.
Without Nova World Buffs, GuildLayerHelper cannot reliably determine whether you are on Layer 1, Layer 2, Layer 3, Layer 4, etc., and therefore cannot reliably display layer request notifications.

What is GuildLayerHelper?
GuildLayerHelper is a lightweight World of Warcraft Classic addon designed to make guild layer requests faster and easier.
When a guild member asks for a specific layer in guild chat, GuildLayerHelper detects the request and compares it with your current layer.
For example:
Guild Member: layer 4
If Nova World Buffs detects that you are currently on Layer 4, GuildLayerHelper displays a compact notification allowing you to invite that player with a single click.

Smart Notification System
GuildLayerHelper only displays a popup when:
Your current layer = Requested layer
The popup will not appear when:

You are in combat
-
You cannot invite players to your current group
-
You are in a raid without invite permissions

You sent the layer request yourself
-
The requested layer is different from your current layer
-
The same player recently triggered a notification
If a popup is already visible when you enter combat, it is automatically hidden.

Localized requests are also supported, including formats such as:

Layer request recognition is multilingual regardless of your WoW client language.
Automatic Language Detection
GuildLayerHelper automatically detects your World of Warcraft client language.
Supported interface languages include:
English • French • German • Spanish • Italian • Portuguese • Russian
English is used as the fallback language for unsupported locales.

Nova World Buffs is required for reliable automatic layer detection.
GuildLayerHelper uses the layer information detected by Nova World Buffs to determine whether a guild member is requesting your current layer.
GuildLayerHelper does not include, modify, or redistribute Nova World Buffs code.
Install and enable both addons:
1. Nova World Buffs
2. GuildLayerHelper
Then /reload your UI.
Commands
/glh — Display addon status and detected layer.
/glh test — Test the notification popup.
/glh layercheck — Display detailed layer detection information.
/glh debug on — Enable diagnostic messages.
/glh debug off — Disable diagnostic messages.
/glh sound on — Enable notification sounds.
/glh sound off — Disable notification sounds.
