Guild Bingo!

Guild Bingo! is a modern, lightweight, interactive raid activity addon designed to keep your guild entertained during groups, raids, and community events. Built on a hybrid architecture with modern v11.x API compliance, Guild Bingo! lets Game Leaders host live bingo sessions across parties and raid groups with real-time state synchronization.

• Built and tested for TBC Anniversary, but should work on other versions.
• This addon was built specifically for the Going Ahead guild on Dreamscythe-US. Future updates will include an option to change the Title Bar for a custom label and a few additional features I've been thinking about.

🌟 Key Features

• Real-Time Host Sync: The Game Leader generates a randomized master seed from their library that automatically populates individual 5x5 boards for every raid member in real time.
• Game Prompt List & Leaderboard Tracker: Live tracking of who has completed a Bingo and who is close to winning (1 away, 2 away), alongside a list of all tile prompts that were included in generating the current game boards.
• Categorized Library & Tile Prompt Selection: Freely organize tile prompts into custom categories (e.g. General, SSC/TK, Karazhan, Guild, etc.) with quick toggles and import/export string functionality.
• Interactive Suggestion Queue: Players can submit prompt ideas directly through their dashboard into the Submission Queue for quick approval into the library. All players see the submitted suggestions and can save/categorize into their personal Library.
• Disconnect & Reload Resilience: Session states are anchored directly into non-volatile memory—if the Host or a player crashes or types /reload, board progress, marks, and seed states survive completely intact.
• /bingo - Opens or closes the main Guild Bingo! dashboard.

🎮 How It Works

For Game Leaders (Hosts)

1. To become a Host, you must be assigned one of the following: Group Leader, Raid Leader, Raid Assist, or Loot Master.

   1. Keep in mind, all players with these roles will have access to Game Leader functionality. Future versions may include a drop-down for the Raid Leader to assign a specific person as the sole Game Leader.

2. Open the dashboard via /bingo.

3. Navigate to the Library tab and check off the prompts you would like to use for the game (requires at least 25 active prompts). Multiple categories can be used.

4. Go to the Game Leader tab, select whether you want a Free Space included or not, and click Generate Board to broadcast the new game seed to your raid.

5. A notification in your chat window will appear when someone requests a Bingo win. Approve the win from the Game Leader tab to verify and announce it!

For Raid Players

1. Simply install the addon—when the Game Leader generates a game, your card automatically hydrates with 25 unique tiles drawn from the host's pool.

2. Open the dashboard via /bingo.

3. Click tiles on your Board tab to track your local progress (Yellow marks).

4. Achieve 5 in a row (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal) to automatically trigger a request to the Game Leader to verify the win. Once approved, the tiles will turn green, announce the win to the raid, and update the Live Leaderboard appropriately. You can Bingo multiple times on the same card!

• Network Integrity: Utilizes secure serialized communication channels (AceComm-3.0) with built-in session fingerprinting (SessionID) to prevent stale board desyncs or joiner conflicts.
• Taint-Free & Anti-Spam: Zero legacy global pollution and built with throttled metronome broadcasting to protect your client from chat server disconnects.
