Guild Bingo!

Guild Bingo! is a modern, lightweight, interactive raid activity addon designed to keep your guild entertained during groups, raids, and community events by hosting live bingo sessions with real-time state synchronization.

• This was crafted for the members of the Going Ahead guild on Dreamscythe-US.
• Currently running on TBC Anniversary, but should work on other versions - built with modern architecture.

🌟 Key Features

• Real-Time Host Sync: The Game Leader generates a randomized master seed from their library that automatically populates individual 5x5 boards for every raid member in real time with disconnect resilience for active sessions.
• Late Joiner Sync: Players joining after a game is in session will automatically sync and receive their own Bingo card.
• Game Prompt List & Leaderboard Tracker: A list of all tile prompts used in the current session, alongside live tracking of who has completed a Bingo and who is close to winning. Double check those awarded Bingo's for accuracy by hovering over the winner's name!
• Categorized Library & Tile Prompt Options: Freely edit tile prompts and organize into custom categories with selection toggles and import/export string functionality.
• Interactive Suggestion Queue: Players can submit prompt ideas directly through their dashboard into the Submission Queue for quick approval into the library. All players see the submitted suggestions and can Approve or Reject them into their personal Library.
• /bingo - Opens or closes the main Guild Bingo! dashboard.

🎮 How It Works

For Game Leaders (Hosts)

• To become a Host, you must be assigned one of the following: Group Leader, Raid Leader, Raid Assist, or Loot Master. Currently, all players with these roles will have Game Leader functionality.
• Open the dashboard via /bingo.
• Navigate to the Library tab and check off the prompts you would like to use for the game (requires at least 25 active prompts). Tile prompts spanning multiple categories can be used.
• Go to the Game Leader tab, select whether you want a Free Space included or not, and click Generate Board to broadcast the new game seed to your raid. Other options to come, suggestions welcome!
• A notification in your chat window will appear when someone requests a Bingo win. Approve the win from the Game Leader tab to verify and announce it!

For Raid Players

• Simply install the addon - when the Game Leader generates a game, your card automatically hydrates with 25 unique tiles drawn from the host's pool.
• Open the dashboard via /bingo.
• Click tiles on your Board tab to track your local progress (yellow marks).
• Achieve 5 in a row in any direction to trigger a "Submit Bingo!" button for the Game Leader(s) to verify the win. Once approved, the tiles will turn green, announce the win to the raid, and update the Live Leaderboard appropriately. You can Bingo multiple times on the same card!

🎯 Roadmap & Future Plans

• Engine Optimization: Transitioning our state sync to a lightweight numerical seed broadcast to cut the network payload size for faster board generation.
• Mini Squares: Interactive mini-player with mouse-over tile prompts.
• Advanced Analytics: Tracking long-term player win rates, fastest Bingo times, and identifying the most "triggered" tiles across all of your active sessions.
• UI Customization: Tweaks, further scaling and opacity controls.
• Game Options: Various ideas for additional inputs/selections for the Game Leader tab.

🛠️ Technical Specifications & Modern Compatibility

• Engine: Built specifically for modern v11.x / v12.x APIs (TBC Anniversary, Classic Era, and Mainline Retail). Has only been confirmed on TBC Anniversary.
• Network Integrity: Utilizes secure serialized communication channels (AceComm-3.0) with built-in session fingerprinting (SessionID) to prevent board desyncs and late joiner conflicts.
• Taint-Free & Anti-Spam: Zero legacy global variable pollution and built with throttled metronome broadcasting to protect your client from chat server disconnects.
