Group Up - LFG Group Finder for Quests & Dungeons

Stop fighting over quest mobs: one key groups you with the players on your quest, and whoever whispers inv joins you. A live LFG board shows every dungeon group from chat and Blizzard's group finder. Nothing goes out in chat unless you press.

Group Up 0.14.0

1 October 2026

  • Sort on the Dungeons tab, at the right end of the column headers: Relevance, Newest, Busiest, Level fit or Name. Relevance is the default, and your choice is kept.
  • Your group sees your own quest progress, with the addon's name in front: an objective finished, and the quest complete - never one per kill, never in a dungeon. "Only when the quest is done" is a choice in Settings.
  • Filter > Skip groups that already have my class: groups in Blizzard's list that already have one of your class are left out. Chat lines from players Blizzard does not list, and groups whose members Blizzard does not tell, still show.
  • Blizzard's listings say where the leader is: the zone at the end of the row when the listing's own words cannot be read, and "Leader in Westfall" in the tooltip. Shift-click and Where? show it without a /who.
  • Replies for any leader: your listing in Blizzard's own finder, and an LFM line you type yourself, get the pinned row and the Replies drawer, as a composer post does. Leaders who whisper your LFG post - or your listing while you are on your own - gather behind "2 groups whispered you", each with Whisper.
  • Rows show who a player is to you, the way the game marks it: a friend or guild mate in the game's friend blue, a recent ally with the game's recent-ally icon after the name - on the Dungeons tab and in Replies, and in words in the tooltips and on Join cards. A listed group with a friend in it has its line in blue. Relevance lists them first.
  • Runs alongside Invite On Whisper and Leatrix Plus: while one of them invites on "inv", Group Up leaves the whispered asks to your quest post, and to your dungeon post's Auto-invite, to it, and the line above chat says who invites. With QuestTogether, or Questie announcing to the party, Group Up's own party lines of the kind it announces wait, and Settings says which.
  • Post full on your dungeon post's pinned row, where Repost stood, once your group is full or every role you asked for is in: one click sends "The Deadmines - full, thanks" to the channel your post went to. Players who still whisper you an "inv" get "grp is full, sorry", as askers to a full quest group do - once each in ten minutes.
  • A Guild send button in the post composer while you are in a guild, the same size as the others: the same line to guild chat, with the same click, the same limits and the same pinned row - your guild hears you wherever its members are.
  • The window and the cards: Ctrl-drag the window's corner to scale it, and Shift-drag a card to move the cards. Settings can lock the window in place and choose whether Esc closes it. /gu reset puts it all back at once.
  • Watch cards can flash the game's taskbar icon and put their line in your own chat window. Both are choices in Settings, off by default.
  • Mute from the card: the speaker on a Join card or a watch card keeps that kind of card away until you /reload or log out. The chip that follows has Undo, and the Quests tab still lists the offers.
  • My whisper to a group in Settings: word the whisper a click on a group's row puts in your chat box. %level, %class, %role and %dungeon are filled in, and nothing is sent until you press Enter.
  • The Dungeons tab says what your filters left out ("8 left out by Needs me, 2 by search") and resets them with one click. While you are not recruiting, players looking for a group fold into one row per dungeon. Below level 13 the board points you to the Quests tab.
  • Groups for your item quests are listed under the quest on the Quests tab while "Group for item quests too" is off - no card, and a click opens a whisper to the player.
