Optimizations & Improvements

  • Slider SetCVar Throttling (GroundFx.lua):
    • The Density (groundEffectDensity), Draw Distance (groundEffectDist), and Fade (groundEffectFade) sliders now verify that the rounded integer value has changed before calling SetCVar, preventing redundant terrain clutter recalculations on intermediate fractional drag steps.
  • Defensive Initialization (GroundFx.lua):
    • Added an idempotent GFX:InitDB() safeguard across ADDON_LOADED, PLAYER_LOGIN, PLAYER_ENTERING_WORLD, and /gfx / /groundfx slash commands.
    • Guarded GFX:InitMinimapButton() against duplicate registration.
