1. WHAT THIS COVERS

"the Work" means every file in this distribution EXCEPT bundled third party
material, wherever in the distribution that material sits. The Work includes
source code, user interface layouts, media, documentation, locale files and
test files.

The Libs directory contains third party libraries. They are NOT part of the Work
and are NOT covered by this licence. Each belongs to its own authors and is used
under its own terms, whether or not it carries a licence file of its own. No
claim of ownership is made over any of them. The set of libraries present is
assembled when the addon is packaged and changes between releases, so this
licence does not enumerate them: the Libs directory of the copy you hold is the
list.

The same principle applies to bundled third party material that sits outside
that directory. In particular, the Atkinson Hyperlegible font files in
Media/Fonts are the work of Braille Institute of America, Inc. and are used
under the SIL Open Font License; the OFL.txt beside them is that licence text
and travels with them unmodified. Neither those font files nor that licence
text is part of the Work, and nothing here adds to or takes away from the terms
they carry.

2. WHAT YOU MAY DO

Subject to section 3, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable permission to:

    a) download one copy of the Work from a distribution channel designated by
       the copyright holder;
    b) install that copy in your own World of Warcraft AddOns directory;
    c) run it, unmodified, as a World of Warcraft addon; and
    d) make the incidental copies that the game client, your operating system
       and your addon manager create in the course of (b) and (c), together with
       one backup copy.

This permission is granted to you personally. It does not pass to anyone else,
and it ends automatically if you breach section 3.

3. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

All rights not expressly granted in section 2 are reserved. Without limiting
that, you may not:

    a) copy, distribute, mirror, rehost, republish, upload or otherwise make
       the Work or any part of it available to any other person, whether or not
       for payment, and whether or not modified;
    b) modify, adapt, translate, port or create derivative works of the Work,
       or of any part of it;
    c) extract, reuse or incorporate any portion of the Work into any other
       software, addon, library, service or product;
    d) sublicense the Work, or purport to place it or any part of it under any
       other licence, including any open source licence;
    e) sell, rent, lease or commercially exploit the Work; or
    f) use the Work or any part of it as input to train, fine tune, evaluate or
       otherwise develop any machine learning model or dataset.

A copy of the Work obtained from anywhere other than a channel designated by
the copyright holder is not authorised, and section 2 does not apply to it.

4. THE SOURCE BEING READABLE IS NOT A GRANT

The Work ships as readable source because the platform it runs on requires
addon code to be completely visible and not obfuscated. That requirement is
met deliberately and in full.

Being able to read a file is not permission to copy it, reuse it, or
redistribute it. Nothing in section 2 or in the readability of these files
grants any right listed in section 3.

5. RIGHTS THIS LICENCE DOES NOT TOUCH

Nothing in this licence excludes or restricts any act that a lawful user of a
computer program is permitted to do by law and cannot be prevented by
agreement. In the United Kingdom that includes the acts permitted by sections
50A, 50B and 50BA of the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988, and in the
European Union the acts permitted by Articles 5 and 6 of Directive 2009/24/EC.
Any term of this licence that would purport to restrict such an act does not
apply to that act, and the rest of this licence continues in force.

6. CONTENT YOU IMPORT, CREATE OR SHARE

The Work is a tool. Sequences, macros and other content that you create with
it, import into it, or share through it are not part of the Work and are not
covered by this licence. Rights in that content belong to whoever holds them.

You are responsible for holding the necessary rights in any content you import
into the Work or share through it, and for observing any restriction the author
of that content has placed on it.

7. TRADEMARKS AND THIRD PARTY RIGHTS

This licence grants no right to use the name GRIP, the name Enhanced Macro
Sequencer, or any associated logo or branding.

The Work is an unofficial addon for World of Warcraft. It is not affiliated
with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. World of
Warcraft and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of
Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. in the United States and other countries.

8. NO WARRANTY

The Work is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied,
including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
and non-infringement.

9. LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the copyright holder is not liable for
any claim, damages or other liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise,
arising from or in connection with the Work or its use.

Nothing in this licence limits or excludes liability for death or personal
injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for
any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a
consumer, this licence does not affect your statutory rights.

10. TERMINATION

The permission in section 2 ends automatically, without notice, if you breach
section 3. On termination you must delete every copy of the Work in your
possession or control.
