Description
Goblin's Gamble
Goblin's Gamble is a deathroll. Same game you already know: you both agree on a starting number, take turns rolling, each roll becomes the new ceiling, and whoever hits a 1 loses. The difference is what you can put on the line. Gold works, but so do mats and BoE gear, and it keeps track of all of it for you.
Deathrolling in plain chat is a mess. Who rolled last, what's the number, was that 1-437 or 1-347, who owes who from three rolls ago. Pick someone, set the starting number and what you're putting up, and Goblin's Gamble shows the pot. If they've got the addon too, they get a popup to accept. From there it's one button. On your turn ROLL lights up with the exact range, you click it, and the game does a real /roll that everyone around you can see. It reads the number, sets the next range and hands it over. A roll out of turn or with the wrong range gets called out and doesn't count.
Put up gold, a stack of mats, an unbound BoE, or a mix of all three. Bet the same as the other person, or go uneven, like your BoE sword against their 300g. When it's over, the ledger keeps track of who owes who, gold and items both. Lose and Pay up opens a trade with the winner and puts everything in for you, and the ledger clears when it goes through. Playing someone who doesn't have it? They can type /roll like normal and it still keeps score.
Every roll stays in the window, newest on top, with how far it dropped. The dice spin before each one lands, a fuse burns down from green to red as the number shrinks, close calls get called out, and whoever rolls the 1 gets a skull.
Want to try it first without bugging anybody? Hit Practice and roll against a dummy. Nothing goes in your ledger and your rolls stay out of chat.
Play fair
Goblin's Gamble is for fun. You play, you take the risk. Don't hand over gold before a winner is decided: the loser pays after the roll, by trade. Please play fair. If you don't want to risk gold, bet mats, gear or any other tradable item instead. This is meant for fun, so please don't abuse it.
